If you ARE going to have a promo photo done by a professional photographer.
Try to think for more than 30 seconds about what you want to portray.
And please, leave the headphones at home, you look insanely stupid.

Oh and one other thing, stop with that "I am jesus deep in thought" look. It`s damn creepy.

On the other hand - sometimes staged headphone shots might be preferrable...
