Get it done, i'll never tire of listening to Peace Division, they've got to be one of my favourite artists.
For anybody that wants to learn how to produce great tracks really should listen to a few of their records.
Henry and Steve Dirty Bass have got to be high on my list too, for their sheer virsatility, any style they want to make they seem to be able to do brilliantly.
DJ Misjah has always had a nice sound too.
Over the years, for techno Beltram and Aphex Twin
Peaky Pounder aka Da Goose aka Jeffrey DeGans
One of the first people I met in person in this techno game.
Awesome person, excellent producer.
My favourite producer has to be Flood.
Every album he touches sounds simply sublime.
Hydraulix 12.
Pounding Grooves 11 the red one and 21 the yellow one.
Really liking Felix Kotcher and Eric Sneo atm.
I think Mattias Fridell deserves way more shine.
pete waterman
arkus p.
dj arcane
jeff amadeus
and newcomer Fergis from spain
play it hard or don't play at all innit!
oh and on the softer side...
the medal would have to go to cj bolland
also virgil enzinger
and if you haven't heard of him yet, keep you ears open for Mezmeric from basstation crew, this boy knows what he's doing and plays a REAL live set..
yes real in the sense that he actually remixes himself in real time thank you very much, a concept which seems to have got lost in the depths of fake live sets which dominate the scene at the moment
me of course
well... I dunno, you're ok i guess.
yea so mark broom, ben simsy, smear/FSG, Dima E and tony wetworks.
Sneo, Brad Lee, Dave the Drummer, Dirty Bass.. umm. Loads more tbh.
The RZA - he just oozes Bad boy and fat beats.
Robert Hood
quick n smart
quick n smart
quick n smart
quick n smart
did i mention quick n smart?
i have to go with dj misjah & dave the drummer
both consistently good
both always have a trick or two up their sleeve
i can go and buy a record from either of these producers without a listen and know i will be satisfied
Glenn fricking Wilson
WEICHENTECHNIKK- go hard or go home
Flood
Louis Walsh!
Phil Spector....
got to love the Ronettes
He is man, the finest producer of mass produced candidates for post natal abortion that the planet has ever seen.
producer of rock music: martin hannett. not because of skills but because of that signature sound.
techno producers: too many to mention, but a few that i've found consistently gratifying are:
cari lekebusch
basic channel
the martian
rob hood
joel mull
joris voorn
as for new producers, not all that much i'm into, but i do like the stuff BOA's own jay pace has been doing.
Hard to name just 1 producer, so I'll do a top 5:
Reeko
Carl Falk
Glenn Wilson
Ben Sims
Surgeon
has anybody said Jeff Mills? I think the tunes he makes are perfect for layering up tunes in long mixes but there is still enough going on in them for them to sound good on their own. it's a shame he hasn't made anything in years
Flemming 'Razz' Rasmussen

G-Man/Gez Varley
mike parker
True, but you look at his history and most of what he has touched are landmark productions.
Eno is damn good too.
Alan Wilder of Ex Depeche Mode and his own stuff As Recoil is a wizard at production, I`ve been studying his stuff a fair bit recently.
Trent Reznor has become very accomplished as a pure producer aside from his creative work too.
Some of the Ghosts stuff is lush as ****.
My fave is Graem Revell of SPK. His production is just immense now, his sound design and film scores are great.
Lustmord (Brian Williams), another SPK guy is also pretty amazing. His Zoetrope soundtrack was fantastic, his sound design again is second to none.
A lot of the guys from the Industrial era have gone on to be pretty stunning and innovative producers.
two of my faves at the moment are gareth lee (ex-compulsion) and an irish lad called marc carolyn (who now does FOH for the cure and muse)
