What ever happened to Zank Shuffle and the japanese crew?
Good question. They aren't as visible on the scene as their abilities should make them, although maybe that's a good thing as they don't seem to over produce. The guy that seems to be making the greatest headway recently from Japan is Takaaki Itoh.Quote:

I like some cheesier techno aswell but can't remember any names
do u know any online shops that stock speedy j stuff romelpotter? ive only ever heard 2 of his tunes, acid come and pannik which r both quality,so id like 2 check more of his stuff out, plus hes been mentioned quite alot in this topic so i must b missin sum good stuff
yea pannik and patterns are my fav speedy j stuff, reminds me of tribal gathering 1997 :notworthy: Most of his stuff is quality but in my opinion some of his stuff stinks,
i get a lot of his stuff on the fly, ( i dont go looking for it) but if you know the name of the track chech out www.gemm.com it's like a online record broker. You could do a search under speedy j. I will pm you a list of his recent stuff on monday (i am going away for the weekend) if you like, otherwise anything from around 1996 should be good. ;)
i'm sorry i meant both, have a kobayashi record from steve larson wich is awesome and also got a few records from henrik larrson which is from the headroom dj team.
don't know where steve larson's origins lie
hard question...generally i like techno that is both hard and has some melody, so some i like are:
steve rachmad
cari lekebusch
adam beyer
red planet
octave one
but there are plenty others...
cheers :lol:Quote:

Have only been coming across their music properly in the last year. Have you checked the Side Three release on Hidden Agenda or "Yadda yadda yadda" by Rohr on Weave?.. this stuff has a serious edge imo.Quote:
