Nice one edk, been listening to this mix a lot in the car and ill give it a proper caining this weekend!
Really like the first few tracks, give it a really different feel but they all still fit together really well, well structured mate!
I have a couple tracks with vocals like those at the beginning an some people say there a bit cheesey but i really like them, its good to hear tracks like this being played.
All the mixing was good, an a few mixes that were different which is what i like to hear. Also the last couple tracks finished the mix off really well..
Enjoying it mate. ;)
ye m8 nice cd ,wellstructured , few bits off the mixing thats slightly off (which i like to hear in mixes now and again tbh as it shows you are human and not a machine hehe) but all in all a top cd
Sorry for the late reply EDK!
First of all thanks alot mate!
Enjoyed the mix mate, nice structuring and flow to the set. starting off melodic and uplfting and progressing very nicely into the hard-edged stuff!
first few tunes i didn't really like because of the vocals, but thats just ma personal taste.
first mix was a stomper! dropped perfectly, as the first tune broke the bassline kicked on the other! best mix on the cd!
i also liked the fact that on some of the mixes you dropped them quite early and didnt jus wait for the outro. i liked this because you showed proggresive mixes/sharp mixes and fast mixes. good on a demo cd.
fair play mate, full marks,
regards, craig
luke some geezer called chris osmand mate, yeah see you friday bud.
kfront and craig ryan cheers mates !! i, i tried to use tracks that werent to cheeesy dont play much vocal stuff normally, but i thought it helps to get the cd going if you know what i mean ? cheers guys coments much appriciated.
jay m cheers mate, thanks for your comments, from someone like yourself this is nice to hear, and i agree with the use of few mistakes comment.
thanxs for the feedback eveyone, sounds like i achevied what i was trying to ! which is half the battle i guess, its hard to mix a warm up cd without there being anyone there to warm up cheers
