in the same way I'm glad that BMB have NOT repeated themselves over the last 12"s, do I need to go on, you love it I didn't...
Good bless the one edit, I hate that ;)

Although the Reeko reference did seem a bit funny to include I still get why you did it. I think it's important that bigger names have bad reviews written about them, instead of everyone thinking the sun shines out of their arse 24/7.. it may even make them wise up.Quote:

And of course you get all the usuall people going 'right on' or 'word' yet no-one seems want to apply it to Blackout audio. I find that strange and that makes me want to knock out a liquid terminator (whatever that is!).Quote:

I'm sorry too... Youre gonna get the biggest Valentines Card ever through the post next week :lol:Quote:

great! we're all friends again. now pleeeeease everyone be nice to each other! i get really discouraged by the acrimony on this site and periodically stop posting as a result...
...now, addressing the idea of subgenre-crossing posts...maybe there is a way to do this without upsetting the balance among the forums? i hate to propose YET ANOTHER forum, but maybe that's exactly what we need...
I'm just gonna post all my music related crap in here be it hardtechno/breaks/electronica or retarded annoying babbling. It'll save me alot of clicking around thats for sure. And maybe i'll stop acting like a dickhead (maybe) ;)Quote:

so yeah discussions can get a bit difficult sometimes , i think that's called "real life" isn't it?
anyway overall i haven't found the forum so bad although this section could perhaps learn a little from the acid techno section which always seems to be quite jovial ...... and the odd stupid post sometimes doesn't go amiss either.
there did used to be a bit more humour in here i don't know what happened to that (did jeff mills steal it?)
and sam..... as much as i appreciate the difficult job you do here
i will only say this once , you need to lighten up a bit mate. ( sorry about that)
just one more thing
perhaps sticking to the topics will actually help a bit , i just reckon you get something out of a discussion that's focused , for instance what's all this reeko stuff in this post all about????
ok there was a point in there but..........
also i have always agreed with not segregating the forum and was partly responsible for the acid techno forum not being separated the first time round...in fact i'd like to see all the "techno" forums compiled as we could all learn from each others attitudes to life as well as our music.
also there are a whole load of old names who seem to be absent these days that's what worries me really.
if it's just gonna be the same 20 people , it's fine , but for me i'm looking for a bit more than just an msn session
know what i mean?
I don't do msn

thats is is very good point there henry i like it and it makes a lot of sense.ive always been 1 for looking for insperation its nice to hear another mans work and if it grabs you by the balls it inspires you.
...ive met a lot of cool people on here and i respect the boa comunity very much, just sometimes as an artist at the more bottom end of the ladder like many others on here its nice to hear wot the more well known and popular artist have to say.the thing that gets me is when some well known artist start`s conducting themselves in an none gentleman manner and not acting good roll models for the younger guys pushing themselves through the ranks, they must remember there are people who respect them and look up to them. ;)
we dont want a techno scene that has to many cheifs an not enough indians. to many cheifs cause wars....politicks.......and general disruption. :eh:
unity is the key, there is enough power in this forrum for change.respect each other work together wot ever. god man ill feel like me grandad! you get the picture guys........ :notworthy:
peace + nboise dudes! ;)
Sure, but many a time, its all a misunderstanding. Sometimes mentors or veterans may come off pretty harsh because its for the greater good. Its nothing personal. They're not going to come out and bull***t you, they're gonna tell it to you like it is and its even more crucial when the industry is fragile. So its really for the student or the younger guys to be mature enough to not take things personally and take heed of the viewpoint or advice and move on, I feel. I never take what any veteran say personally, only contructively.Quote:

Sometimes here it reminds me of a bunch of old farts at an art show drinking wine and criticizing the paintings
This post has reminded me to post more (although I can't rememeber what it was about  ).
