the point, is that the person making this, has rinsed this type of joke so much it`s bone dry.
The odd booty is cool, but this is just regular theft.

the only good thing is it may boost record sales so that record shop dont go under...
they can sell the wishhy washy to the kiddeis by the barrel loads and still be able to sell the rest of us decent music... ;) ;)
i dunno im just a hater.
mind u" i hate the game not the playa"
i dunno i think we've all gotta accept that people have freedom of expression and there are those who like making this and there are those that like dancing to it. if you really wanna talk about 'rinsing' then that's the amount of times i've seem ppl just go on and on about how rubbish this type of schranz is on this forum LOL  it's all personal taste.. if we really wanna get down to it we can say how underground resistance bastardised the original sound of detroit techno, or how joey beltram made everyone thing that techno was to do with ecstacy, when it orginal was never was anything to do with drugs.
my philosophy is to accept things change, things get rinsed, things get commercialised, and just move on. the fast you move on and stop talking about it, the more ahead of the loop of change you actually are.
just my theory. and it certainly stops me loosing sleep and wasting time over music like this ;)

There all bastards, kill em all and then kill yourself.
I dont really hear any expression in this tract tho, at least the likes of Beltram, UR took an idea turned into their own artform. Then again I suppose comedy is art.
If this was a bootie styled remix with some ideas, a little bit of a personal slant, a point to make then I would probably be in  with it. Even if it was schranze with some clever ideas in it would probably would like it. But I dont, sounds like they used windows Shranzemakerv1.exe
One of the reasons I dont like pop is because is because of the above reasons. Of course, thats all personal taste tho
or possibly just pretentious and elitist ?Quote:

:!:
No we must bash it and bash it until it is dead.

Even better, tell George Bush that dodgey schranze bootleggs harbour terrorists, and then watch the bombs drop.
:rambo: :rambo: :rambo:
i bet he'd have some trouble pronouncing "schranz"Quote:

well this pretty much links to the point I'd like to make. That is that some schranz has been good, but much of it is effortless unoriginal turd like this. I think a few of the releases have been faithful to the original hard sort of sound of the tunes they are based on. They have just made these tunes applicable to a hard techno set-no bad thing. I'd like to cite particularly the version of born slippy, and the voodoo people one, and also blade. now I think what has been done to these is good because they work well as techno tunes. What I'd agree is a pile of faf is when gratuitous bootlegs are made that don't work as tunes in there own rights are made-as they just end up not working IMO. However, having said this that IMO is important because maybe the thread starter thinks it does work well, which I can't really argue with-different strokes for different folks. Basically what it comes down to is that I think if it works as a techno tune and has a little innovation in it it can be good and is not just thievery as it gives a new slant to the original, and can be good fun. A little like a remix-something I think nobody has a problem with here. Unfortunately alot of these schranz releases (in fact IMO most of them) lack a new slant and are just a little gratuitous. But this doesn't make schranz bad because it's schranz, and I think to say schranz is inherently bad is a little unfair, and quite possibly a little pretentious. After all it is fun and doesn't techno have something to do with having a laugh?Quote:

Also, be careful to remember acid techno was pood on by "purist" techno fans, and is now a much more respected genre.
Be careful you don't do the same to other newcomers...
and remember "techno purists suck on this"!
I don't have Schranzeophobia, I just think these commercial blootlegs blow
If the guy who made this actually made the origional music thats been stolen and placed into this track I would be impressed. But sadly its not
oh i canQuote:

take the sample away from the track and what are you left with
some drums.... and thats it , and i'm sorry but drums is drums innit.
anyone with half a brain can program those drum patterns.
stil....people like it.......
i hang my head in sorrow
I can see that, certainly not what I intended on happening......there is no point of getting wound up over a record that some like and some dislike.
It's been a few days since i was last on here.
I am suprised to see all the negative energy focused on this production or thread...
Producers will put out bootlegged tracks, wether it is shitty or not, the fact makes it more interesting to see where the real creativity falls in this Industry.
Bitching about shite will get you nowhere..
I helped out setting up a rig in the 2nd room at a grandmaster flash gig this weekend and played this to soundcheck the system. don't think the main man heard it though but some of his crew had some cheeky giggles.
it certainly isn't the best bit of techno i've ever heard but in it's defence: i live in a small town and the people that turn up to our events are not just technoheads they are anybody wanting to escape cheese. A tune like this can give these people a hook to get into and then you can play the 'proper' stuff; also it can safe your ass on the dancefloor.
we need to remember we are there to make people dance, if you can drop something with a bit of cheese that will then turn people on to the other tunes you are playing surely this is a good thing?????
and i'm hoping to get the job of turning it into five pages
do i get a cigar?
