Roll on saturday, even my brother, who has been a veteran of the jam since pretty much the beginning is coming out of his mid life crises for it I believe. From acid under rail way bridges to house renovation and sensibility he is only 32, a grip is needed.
Infact, everyone seems to be going, the pool needs to be drained tbf ;) Altho its quite clearly not happening.
See ya down the front people.

Am I mistaken or was she there with someone? ?
she seemed to be flirting it about. saw her in lost aswell. by that time i was a bit worse for wear so conversation was out of the question
Shite, I didnt see her down @ Lost. Probably something to do with the fact that she was only 5 feet tall, dressed completely in black & on the darkest dance floor I have ever seen
I hate it when you meet a girl and the next time you see her your either to ****ed to chat her or not ****ed enough :eh:
ON TOPIC -
What did we think of the Jam??? I thought Paul Mac played the best set but I think I heard all of the Dj's pulling off some tight mixes. The vibe WKD and there were even a few more sexier ladies than normal
Did anyone stray away from the Techno long enough to see the fight in the DnB room??? Not nice, women punching people and stamping on them. Some poor dude got "knocked the f**k out" :eh:
did mills play last or fenton?
medicine bar or a shock pool appearence? was it busy?
considered goin late saturday night but i knew id be no ****in use when i got down there.
It went Fenton, Mac, Mills and Mr Finke! Which was a bit of a surprise! It was rammed until the end of Mills then it eased up a bit which was good coz since it was in Medicine Bar there was begger all room to dance!
Yeah man I know how that feels got there late felt like shit, I moved house earlier on that day and spent 50minutes lost just getting out of the city we LIVE in I mean....................ffs!
Good night though real good crowd
I had a quality time. Thought all the Dj's were ace, Mills wasnt as good as I have seen him, he was playing good tunes, but he was taking his time on the mixing. Saying that, he was getting on with it, it just wasn't fever pitch style, no tune every 30 seconds or so for a few hours. Paul Mac was the man of the night for me though, I thought he was totally blinding, hadn't heard him play before, but really want to see him again now. It was interesting hearing Fenton on first and Finke last, but I thought it was cool, Fenton did a quality job of getting it going, when I arrived at 11:30 or so the dancefloor was already full and going mental.
Awesome unmessy night for me. Fenton played well, warmed up perfectly, really got the crowd going. Then Paul Mac, who was f'ing immense, awesome set, first time seeing him, set of the night. Mills was also on form, really working the crowd I thought, some classics, not his usual fast paced mixing, but very tight set bar a few howlers towards the end, but its aloud its Jeff Mills, good to see him again, wasnt paying attention at Lost the other week. Atmosphere was great when he was on, well actually it was all night really.
Then I left, too knackered, haha. Shocking, driving and being sensible really aint me.
Great crowd, some really fit women about, which is good to see, loving the techno aswell, nothing better than that ;) Roll on the next, get out the marquee and were laughing.
finke really nailed it. Pure old skool acid. took my ear plugs out for the last two tunes and that alone gave me ear ache.
mills was pretty good, worked the crowd more than usual. Jeet looked at me during his 909 action with this big grin on his face, then his mix out of it was a shocker, and we both shook our heads in mutual agreement, but as you said, its mills, he's allowed.
fentons warm up wasn't exactly a warm up haha, but thats what i love about jam. no nonsense.
didnt see that fight, but the dnb room did have some right cocks in it so i avoided it most of the night anyway
All in all another quality night!!!
So it seems that was quite a few peoples first time seeing Paul Mac as was it mine, think he needs to play out more often
Since I stopped listening to DnB I had not seen one fight in a club in 4 years................................. :paranoid:
Paul "The Daddy" Mac.
'Nuff said! :cheese:
Pretty sure Mills was only playing on 2 decks hence the slow paced mixing. On the plus side it did seem to keep the trainwrecks to a minimum but on the other hand just relegates him to a very average techno DJ IMO. The magic is long gone.
Did enjoy hearing Alarms though and also Fenton dropping Beltram-Gameform early doors.
