i have to agree, he really is a top notch producer and whilst some of the more recent stuff hasnt been any great leap forwards i dont think hes come to a halt either, id love to see him evolve though and take his production talents to the next level.
and I'm sure he will.Quote:

dirk's criticism of a few tracks out there at the minute is that you can tell they are knocked together in a day or so. this is NOT how uberdruck work, especially not on their own tracks.
making a track sound as good as theirs takes time.
This is just a question, nothing meant by it, no hidden meaning(dont wanna start an arguement!! ) but i have noticed that alot of people have said that they think the uberdruck sound is old and not breaking boundries. Who do you think does always push boundries and come up with a fresh sound and fresh tunes??? Again there is nothing more to the question than what is there, I am just interested to see peoples opinion!! :?:
its exactly the same as about the last 3 or 4 releases.Quote:

superbly produced? all theyve done is used exactly the same bassline, synths, acid line, percussion etc etc as they do in all their tunes, and jiggled things about a bit, and put in a different vocal with, you guessed it, the same old effect on it...
i stick 2 what i say, this didnt take long to make at all... :dontevengothere:
respect to Uberdruck, but they're goin' nowhere right now.
I don't think Uberdruck are class... but recent productions have been going a different direction to what I expected. Nowt wrong with that, but I love the dirty and evil uberdruck as opposed the the trancey uberdruck. Saying that, Uberdruck have done some cool trancey bits... the Dj the Crow vs C4 mix of Radio Star! Pure class!Quote:

Uberdruck don't have to push boundries every time, they have already done that... but I think they can twist my soul with some evil and wierd music if they harness the darker sound of trance when producing. I'm a big fan of Necromonican... dark and trancey and hits you good. Also I'm a big fan of cuntmaster and I loved there mix of Synchronised... I love this sort of stuff.
Now Or Never, I know its old... but blew me away when I first heard it go off... just hit me to a new level of hearing things... I like it when a track does that... and Uberdruck if producing like that are far more effective I feel.
- I don't really have a list of names of people I think "always pushes boundries" as its rare for a producer to do it... it usually occurs when a single producer sets a standard which is known as they're own sound... Uberdruck, Shokk/Flutlict, Wavetraxx/Chris Menzi, Scot Project, Hennes & Cold, Kai Tracid, Gary D, Coocoma etc... all are known for pioneering and almost trademarking a sound or way of doing something in a track etc.. and its then when a benchmark is created and a boundary is being pushed or created. All I feel is that its been a long time for trance to really of moved on from wicked and high standards the producers I mentioned set in the past. Uberdruck once pushed the boundary, and I feel that they are not moving forward with there releases as such... not that it is bad to not to, but I would expect them to of.
Hope that makes sense... I know it most be odd to read many people boarding on moaning or complaining when a good solid track is released... lol... its more about expections and hopes to hear something that will blow you away again. Sam Punk is a good example, he's been doing some cracking work and only in his last release for Hardnation that I felt he was reusing a few too many ideas... great tracks that he releases though every time.
Blutonium Boy is another man who needs a mention, as well as Thomas Trouble... great prodcuers... although I think they took there time in finding the best hard style combination... but that's just my opinion.
wow... that REALLY should not of started with "I don't think Uberdruck are class..."
I DO THINK THEY ARE CLASS... dunno how I mis typed that!
Im liking the vocoded sample
Again I think you've made some silly comments there, are you Dirk or David, can you tell me exactly how long it took to make this track?Quote:

No. Its all about the content. And if someone can get new, and original content down in a track in 5 mins, id rather hear that then the same old drivel that took 2 weeks to produce.Quote:

clear enough?! ;)
Boys, Uberdruck are class, no 2 ways about it! Over the ranges of sounds and the consistancy and the speed in which they release their tunes, i think this says it all.
Also they have proven with their unique sound, that they can produce high quality Hard Trance, Tech-Trance, Uplifting Trance, Dark Trance, Hardstyle and Acid Trance. You have to take this into account, not many other Artists can be as Varied and Precise.
At the end of the day, their Formula and Sound works, so why change it??
True German Hard Trance
well im not sure if i agree with that... i mean the fact that something works is not always a good enough reason not to change it..
i just dont feel that the uberstuff is THAT samey...
i certainly dont think that they're taking the piss in the way that kramer has, or in the way that chris menzi is starting to...
I didn't like this track mainly because of the sample. It doesn't get much more unoriginal than using this tired Matrix sample, the only thing less original is using Pulp Fiction samples, which Uberdruck have also done...

They do, I agree - but i've heard this exact sample in so many other tunes. Why not get another quote from the Matrix? Why not sample Reloaded or Revolutions? Just anything other than a sample which has been in 200 other tunes.Quote:
