YES YES YES.. i do that & ppl jus look at me.. trying to explain the duality of heavy techno & stripped melodic.. the emphasis on the beats & rhythms & the comparisons i draw between techno & dub..

BassHunter = cunt.
hahaha never ceases to amaze me that.
my dad always used to say to me wen im bangin it out on ableton... " if i wanna listen to techno i'll run up and down the stairs"...i used to say.. watch you dont fall down em...**** off!!!....techno is a pure form of music...ancient rhythms... music in a raw form!!...NOT 2-unlimited!
Got another mate who used to always say, "jungle sounds like a tin of biscuits falling down some stairs."
sounds like someone put a load of old china plates in the washing machine
my grandad actually said it sounded like a load of dustbin lids being bashed together
i took it as a compliment
I love the interesting use of noises in techno you wouldn't necessarily expect to find in most music - one if my favourites, you hear it a lot in stuff like mid-90s Joey Beltram, sounds like someone whackin a radiator
My dad has 2 unlimteds greatest (id use that term loosely) hits! Say no more! :lol:
