BOTH SIDES ARE F.U.C.K.ING SHIT.
its very run of the mill stuff isnt it, the b side had some appeal to me for its classic sound but after a min or 2 i realised it wasnt enough to warrant it for me.
na, not doing it for me ,sounds like it was made on the playstation
I think german trance.coms review was a tad bit too generous

Sol Ray and Dark by Design a.k.a Gaz West once again fly the uk flag with pride with this the follow-up release to "Future", which sold out in Germany in just the first week of release. So here they are with two more blinding high energy hard trancer's which should cause ultimate distruction on the more harder floors.
average: 10
reaction: 10
production: 10
cool factor: 10
they usually are though :neutral:Quote:

thought it was pretty standard. not me cuppa really, but not all that bad.
thought it was alright, dunno why everyones slaging it off so much :eh:
to be honest it aint nothing amazing but i liked it!
My thoughts exactly!Quote:

It sounded alright when Sol dropped it last Friday @ Religion.
Sounds Pretty Solid to me,
It sounds the same as everything DBD has done....BORING.
I mind when i was sayin i didnt like his stuff, all of u went crazy... :neutral:Quote:

dont get me wrong, the boys well talented... but even his half decent tunes imo, were a nasty copy of tunes that had already been done by the germans, dutch etc a year and a half before.
he has got talent, he's just choosing not to use it.
i'll probably buy it
sounds hard housey :nono:
the label side is not very good
the info side is good not amazing, but its got that old school sound to it which i like!!
Its only the second track ive bought from DBD the other was future!! i think his other stuff is quite poor, stuff on synthetic whites and nucleus!
dance with the devil was ok i spose
When Gaz produces by himself, or not under orders by labels, I think he's loads better.
To be fair alot of the DBD stuff that has been released isn't to my liking but as I've said before loads of his STILL unrealesed European influenced trax really are out of this world!!!!
If I'd never have heard these tunes I've been passed then I would proberly agree with all of you.
I wouldn't gun him down just yet guys as this boy has only just started and I feel you may all be eating your words!! ;)
Tim
Same here too. I quite liked it. I presume it is Nexus were talking about?Quote:

Heard loads of mixed reactions on this 1, DBD's name is gettin big in Wales @ the mo'...
at the end of the day the guy cant please everyone and people obviously like what he does , just because its not to the liking of some people doesnt mean others wont like it.
Give the guy a break , he will be the one laughing as its him who is signed to numerous labels and getting recognition worldwide and not yous.
i cant comment on the guys overall ability as i havent heard much of his stuff though the production quality is allways of a good standard in the stuff i have heard, this release in question however in my opinion is a bog standard trancer of which im getting really tired of and as established producers, and UK ones at that i am expecting a bit more from a release on a failry big label like pulse .
I hope he does get signed worldwide and recognition for his work but deserved recognition for producing something more worthwhile then this particular release (like i say i cant comment on his overall work as i havent heard much but i will go away and check his other releases out).
loads of his other stuff is class emu.
cool man, reccomend anything for me to check out ?Quote:

DBD - Dance with the devil
DBD - Visions of skywalking
First impression rmx
to name a few ;)
i always thought both the pressings on pulse were quite week :eh:
Think hes already on numerous labels and gettin recognition worldwide is he not?Quote:

should really look into production
the sound he uses for his melody/main part/catchy bit of the tune is the same as all the other tunes he makes is what they mean
