Out of the one's you mentioned i'll keep tabs on any new 'Push' Releases.
There production is always spot-on and you can always tell a lot of work has been done, apparantley they do take a very long time on writing their tunes until their satisfied.
Other than that, it's got to be Hard Uplifting Trance like SHOKK, Kai Tracid and Gary D etc etc etc etc
I really rate 'Universal Nation' thats a classic tune.
yeah mate, trance is where its at... even some vocal stuff, as there is quite a bit of stuff that comes out that isnt just a blatant 80s pop tune makeover... things like jan johnston flesh (tiesto mix), andain summer calling, but also all the stuff like you mention, M.I.K.E. in all his many aliases, rank1, just anything with a bit of progression... oh, and dj sammy of course!!!
Nu NRG are one of my favs at the moment, I like M.I.K.E's spacey stuff aswell, (future platform 1!)
all that stuffs right up my street. Thats my main style. Ive been realy into all the new "tidy two" stuff and all the new tech-house thats been coming out. Tomcraft is definatly got its down right now plus alot of the judge jules playlists.
have ot go now,
tutors balling at me!!!!!
tomcraft rmx of Brooklyn bounce - Club bizarre i think is a very good track, i dont even mind the vocals. but i havnt heard much other tomcraft stuff
you should realy check out tomcraft-lonliness. ok its being released into the charts but when i had it about two months ago when no one else did it was wicked. Still is but you will have to excuse the chart release. But it must be good if its on its way to the charts. Other tomcraft stuff to realy look out for is the remix of simple minds-spaceface. This funky filktered tech sound is wicked with a realy catchy vocal.
Other stuff i realy go for mauro picotto stuff. anybody catch the 2002 remix of pulsar, absolute banging ture trance tune that will even be appreciated by hard trance fans.
two other tunes that any repecting uplifting trance fan should know about:
Jan Johnston-Flesh 2002 (tiesto remix)
Fingers Burnt-squat thrust
And favorite uplifting trance track off all time has too be:
Members of mayday-10in01 (paul van dyk remix)
I dont care if people disagree because when it comes to all time favorites its all down to opinion. This is one great track never to be forgotten. If you dont feel the atmosphere on this tune then your just not losing yourself in the music, your not listening hard enough.
I appolagise to all the hard trance fans if you dont know what im talking about. I know this is a hard trance site but i thought i would put my contribution to a very good thread.

beat pusher feat miranda brainsby-Saving grace.
on judge jules record lable, about to be big.
so how many people on this forum are realy into uplifting trance then?
if you post a thread with details of your style to see what kind of people we are dealing with.

i like a lot of uplifting trance and i think theres a few others aswell but im still into the older stuff really, i dont like a lot of the newer stuff thats coming out.
I was a big Fan of the uplifting scene before i got into the underground scene. i still like it now but ive lost my knowledge of it really
I probally used to be the biggest transa fan in the world!!! :)
The likes of Supernova,Prophase etc etc and every remix they did even that vengaboys mix they turned it into a classic tune!!
Well Transa and K90 were amazing for me.still like k90 but transa have seemed to change styles so ive lost intrest
very into this style. proper trance music. shame it's so hard to get now without being 'cheesy'.
yeah very true, but as much as people slate tiesto (i like him at times)
he is a very big player in releasing good trance, on Blackhole and Magik muzik, and anything from mike is lush . In Trance we trust etc.
The problem is u ave to shift thru a million shite tunes to find a good un.
it was mark's brainstorm cd that really got me hooked on trance. i do love my hard shit, but how i crave for trance like that to be produced nowadays -uplifting, intelligent, and not a hint of cheese. tunes like superstitious, transmission, 999 - all pant-creamingly uplifting and timeless tunes. :(
its a shame its so hard to find that kinda trance now but things have to progress...
theres a tune on gas europe that samples pacha bros. superstitious called alien . you would like that if you haven't heard it already!

I also quite liked 'Flight 643' good production and quite catchy.
I remember some of the Magik's being very catchy. And "Sparkles" from him was a stormer....proper trance.
So he has had some good Uplifting releases, but yet again there is always that cheese. It seems his older releases (when he wasn't really recongnised) where the better.
tiesto is wikked at points...his mix of kathys song on above the sky is really uplifting.
Kathys song is class ,i love it

Transa Remix of Tiesto - Sparkles is class and so is ferrys mix of caths song
Ive got so many tunes in my hed but i cant think of the names im at work
cant beat transa though i used to love them.it was a unique sound which i could never get sick of!!!
Reactive 15 (harry the hammerheads trance jawbreakers)
now thats what got me into uplifting trance full off classics (picotta - pulser, transa - supernova and loads more!!!)
craig was right about tiesto-flesh cause thats one of my favorite tunes of all time.
Plus the place he herd it was at my house anyways.
Mark eg hit the nail right on the head about the new stuff. You realy have to watch to see if it isnt getting cheesy.
All the lasgo, ian van dahl, flip and fill commercial crap can go and burn in hell for all i care.
you realy have to watch out with this genre because we are all hoping and praying that the best tracks that we buy and deam "classics" dont get released into the charts and get ruined.
I have personally managed NOT to buy a uk chart released track in the past 6 months, this means i have got quite a collection of quality trance tracks that will never get ruined because of overplay on the radio.
I suppose this topic is highly related to the thread by DJCRAIG RYAN on commercial crap.
Big question:
ARE THE BEST TRANCE TRACKS THE ONES THAT DONT GET BATTERED BY BIG DJS AND RADIO PLAY?
or
ARE THE ONES THAT GET BATTERED THE BEST ONES BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE ARE PLAYING THEM SO THEY MUST BE BIG?
please reply to this because i think this is very valid point for all aspects trance music.
(remember chainsaw by shreddar? point taken?)

i have this album on vinyl, theres some good uplifing trance on there, supanova is a spot on tune.Quote:

i think it works both ways, because if a good tune doesnt get played by commercial djs or radio then it is a bonus because it wont lose its magic.Quote:

i totally agree.
I have tunes that ive had since i started mixing and they still have that magic today. i bet we all have these types of tunes, but.....
They have kept there magic for this long because i never once herd them on the radio.
i reckon that if these tunes were played on the radio that i would buzz off them but no one else would????
so the radio djs have to get tunes that everyone would buzz off and not just individuals. This adds to that way they get ruined.
and the moral of the story is:
personal classics stay with the individuals and never go away
but when a tune is being played quite alot on the radio we should expect them to escape our attention quicker than the ones that dont get played.
ps: i also agree with who ever said mauro piccotto-pualsar is one of the best trance tracks of alltime. because it is!!!

Well ive got a few reactives on CD but thats it but nothing beats 15.i love it still a reg on my stereo!!!
Ive heard m-zone play supernova couple of times just a bit timestreched.
on the topic of trance tunes!!well i wud say the ones that dont make it to the tune are classics
i mean that chainsaw tune was amazing but then they was some crap mixes done and ya average boy racer was pumping it out the stereo like it was eminem.it did my hed in then!!!
also look at tunes like castles in the sky.that wasnt a bad tune when mark was playing it a year or so b4 but then when someone put vocals on it it becomes tune of the summer.YEAH RIGHT get ya facts right it was good when it was first released.
theys only a few trance tunes that ive liked in the charts and thats when trance was becoming global later 98 an 99 when ferry and tiesto were pumping out decent releases
tunes like gouryella - gouryella and system f - out the blue!!!
tunes like that deserve to be number 1 not fecking flip n fill - tell it my arse!!
gouryella
three words for that record
TOTAL ABSOLUTE CLASSIC!!!!!!!
team cascade
Sure is cant beat it!!!
had it on the other night actually!!
cascade u havnt got ure name from one of transa AKA's have ya??
they did a couple of tunes under cascade or what it Ferry i cant remember now!!
:)
no mate
my name isnt from any of those producers you have said.
to tell you the truth it just came to me one day. staright into my head for no reason. Ive had pretty crappy names until then but im well impressed with this one.
I hope no one thinks im taking a name from a good producer because i dont mean to.
Its just what me and djcarig ryan call our little team of djs and producers, but i have taken it as my own name cause i brought us all together in the beggining.

FIRE AND ICE !!!!!! :D
Tiestos album is very good imo, with stand outs like Magik journey, Dallas 4AM and Lethal industry. He has a remix out on promo now on Black hole, called venus, and its class imo.
Although like i said he can be a bit shit at times also, i thought his mix of pulser was one of hte worst remakes ever.
System F 'Out Of The Blue'
Another Classic
yea tiesto is quality but anybody can slip up with that mcuh pressure on there shoulders. I bet hes well busy being the best dj in the world and all that!!
well im listening to tiesto mix of jan jahnston-flesh right now, and i must say im totally out of it!!! im in absolutley ectasy!!
the atmosphere on this song is totally awsome.
well like ive said before your personal stormers are yours only so you might feel something totally different from a track. Feelings others might not feel.
BIG QUESTION:
WHATS THE TRACK THAT TAKES YOU AWAY FROM IT ALL?
THE TRACK YOU TOTALLY LOSE YOURSELF TOO?
c'mon lads lets see what gets you guys going??
