Not bad
I was thinkin that a few weeks ago, there been a few bits 2 shout about tho in recent weeks, the high fish stuff is quality and a little diffrent, the part few uberducks {and thats not my style} have been really good, the druck stuff,dj's inc,i liked the last two DuMonde tunes but they were no where near hard enuff, and a few other bits that im not sure the names from the top me head...
yeh the new dj inc is alright, like the kamui rmx
sounds 2 much the same as there ghosts on overdose dont it!!!
ive noticed that about a lot of producers, eg. sound 2 light!!!
agree with ya chuck-e!! sound 2 light and kamui are too scared to change there sound....
theres been some pretty good bits about if you look hard enough, love that mainbrain and somville that yoshi put up, lovely tune...
don't think it's that bad at the mo...not compared to some other times...
yeah is ok really but again it aint really that hard, nice and uplifty thoQuote:

It's terrible. If your in to club trance then your sorted, but there is a massive shortage of QUALITY tuneage. I'm finding myself listening to more and more rubbish. It's such a shame... where has all the good producers gone?
I'm hearing so much sampled hardstyle rubbish or very old and poor efforts on hard trance. There's been a few brilliant productions over the last few months, but I've snapped them up and find I can't add to them. I've recently been going back through the older stocks trying to find some good tunes that I've missed... it's hard work.
We need a flurry of hard trancers to keep us going... but I'm not sure where it will come from.
Rats.
it has been a nightmare, i'll agree.
but there has also been a few moments of pure genius too.
i think the problem has been the xmas period. i mean there's not been BAGS of quality hard trance for a good few years now and it's always been a mission to search for it. but with xmas everyone releases less.
i'm looking forward to what's coming out this year but at the mo i'm finding myself playing some of the same records from last month and i don't like doing that.
here's to hoping it gets al little better in feb.
True, xmas is going to see less productions hitting the shelves, but it's a depressing time to go through. I wonder if we have been saying this each year at this time! I might go back through the hard trance section and check! ahaha....Quote:

Too many tracks made me cringe...
Always look forward though, give it time and the tunes will come.
yeah i find myself picking up on the older stuff i have missed too, but there aint shit all out there   to be honest i aint had a good mix for weeks as im bored of playing they same old tunes i always find new ones make it so much better and exciting.Quote:

i agree with hakka also there is shit loads of club trance out and even the hard trance comming out aint 'hard' really
Its gonna be a cunt cause ive got a set on saturday and i think im just gonna have to dig out a load of classics, which is ok but not the same
CD's... ;)
I've been hassling producers for tracks's, downloading mp3's off ATS Digital, asking for CD's off budding producer's...
You just can't rely on vinyl for your set's...ther hasn't been much out I agree, and to be honest I think it was mainly down to the demise of Alphamagic....but they are slowly coming back again and so we will just have to see what happens over the coming months...
To be honest, I don't think it will stay like this for long...
Plus it's also down to variety, I don't JUST listen to Hard Trance, I play Trance and Techno aswell, so for me, I spose it hasn't affected me as much...
You really have to search hard, or just suffer like everyone else, just checking germantrance isn't going to suffice...you need to build up a huge directory of online vinyl sites, search for upcoming tracks that you can get hold of and learn to mix on cd!!!
My two drachma...
the thing is that a lot of clubs dont have cd decks, so u need mainly vinyl. I also play a bit of trance and hardstyle but doesnt make up for the lack of hard trance
true mate, but I can see them popping up everywhere soon...Quote:

I probs would play little hard trance if it wasnt for cd decks at the mo, findin it hard to get a hold of stuff on vinyl, apart fi drucks etc....Quote:
