Si begg rmx also! yeah it's not bad that mix, quite breakzy!

My ony problem with it is the Nitzer Ebb lyric rip off. Fire! Fire! Fire! Fire!. Were not that stupid mr former Nitzer Ebb remixer.
oh is it that one, didnt know that was its name... no i didnt like this one at all, been done before and much better, by himself... Murderous remix anyone?

the track in question was Murderous was it not? :?:
Sorry man. I dont think it was. that Fire Fire Fire Fire bit is from Join in the Chant. Same difference. I might be being pedantic but its a bit sad hearing it at the start of alloy mental. Theres a bit of a 'i wanna be Nizter Ebb' buzz going on or something IMHO.Quote:

donkey of a tune.
no u misunderstand me, "Fire Fire Fire" was from Join in the Chant yes i meant the remix he did was Murderous...
but yeah as Dogshit says haha a bit of a donkey
quite like it myself bit of a party tune. seems to go down well on the dancefloor and thats all that matters
he can do better ;)
/\
that's what my school reports always said
chesney hawkes could do better.
aye too right but that's because he's the one and only
haha my school reports went something along those lines too
didnt like this at all.
also, heard a rumour it had a huge chunk of a Skylab track in there..
phil should bin this party stuff & go back to the breaks & electro he used to make. much much much better imo...
but what would i know ;)
right now i am really f@cking annoyed!
i went to express beats from the link on page one of this thread
and joined the stupid site ( as you have to these days)
then i got to the page with the tracks and went to download.
filled in the card details ( luvly jubly)
and hit the " download" tab
what happens .....??? well first of all the computer falls over...
then i get disconnected.....adsl modem .....usb....shit happens
so i get everything back up again
go to the page....and it continues the download...i breath a sigh of relief.
not for long.
i've just downloaded 4x16 mb php files?!!!!?????
what the hell is this?
some kind of web archive with a page of code?
no music program will open them
what the **** do i do?? anyone know..
and why oh why can't they just give you the bloody mp3 already!!
f@ckers!
try renaming them to .mp3
done that.
finally got one of them to download
the php thing seems to be some kind of header type thing
and then the mp3 follows on??????(????????)????????
i really don't know what the hell i am tlking about now
internet geek stuff is not something i'm big into.
i reckon it's all set up for pc and thats it.
php is a scripting language, why they arent just allowing you to download an mp3 i dont know
the bomb
serious tune from the courtyard days of bugged!
yeah that's kind of what i thought too.Quote:

i defy anyone to say that's crap
* prepares for an onslaught of slagging *
also si beggs site says he can't get an album deal !!!!
how can that be possible?? he's so talented!
w.t.f.??
i really hate this track.
i mean it all boils down to personal pref at the end of the day, but nah, to me this is just terrible. si beggs mix is just awful AND I'm a huge fan of si begg. i find the whole 'techno band' things he's trying to do here is really great thing, but OMG I it could be done so much better.
sorry, this is just not doing it for me. respect to him for trying something different, but it's just not my bag.
SORRY guys!!!
anyway, forget me. on with the +ve shit hehehe ;)
Henry... last time you were in Venice you were taking the piss out of me for saying that I've turned to liking breaks... The SiBeg remix is 100% breaks my friend.... So.. Welcome to the club!
I like this track a lot. I like all breaks with a forward driving techy vibe. The mixture of pure techno and techy breaks makes for a wicked set (I'm my opinion). I also like the new infusion of rock remixes. Something to shake your ass to instead of just boom boom boom that I've heard 100027821 times now.
I got my copy from Xpress Beats, and it just gave me an mp3 download, no problem
I'm loving the Begg mix of Alloy Mental, and there's no denying the original does the damage any time I've heard it out. It had the arches jumping when Beyer played it at Pressure.
I'm planning on playing the Si Begg mix tonight in Glasgow. When that big bass line drops in I'm expecting a bit of carnage
agreed with Mark, Si Begg is awesome but this remix doesnt do a thing for me, with a tune so lacklustre and unispiring in the first place tho i find this easy to believe...
sorry, really dont like this record the more i check it out haha
hopefully he'l get back to doing stuff like The Bomb as Bren said, superb courtyard tune that was, exceedingly happy memories of Justin playing that many a time
The Bomb has to be up there with a couple of other tracks as one of my favorite techno tunes EVER. I don't think I would be as in love with the music had I not been so blown away by The Bomb when I started partying.
I think I'm gonna go play that right now actually :rambo:
yeah i really love that track, one of his excellent early releases
Can anyone help me on finding out who remixed The Bomb. They did it well, made it much more pumping and I think they dulled that ****en fog horn down a bit! (that the real cheddar)
but yea top track
Alloy Mental needs to be played quite fast. Its a rock version of Pontape (in my head). Party tune that people rock out to but yea pretty simple in the production stakes.
Go Phil he's quite the man
