Most people thought I was minced, and I was! Follow that up with a bit of your old friend acid before heading down the quarry and no sleep and I was in some nick.
Yes, this guy is doin sum good stuff!!! i like the boingy distorted sound he has!!!
first i heard of him was Rock n Roll on 4x4x24, so he's quite new to my in head techno database.
Quality tho
Rock n roll on 4X4 was phatness.
The fact it's minimal and tough is what I like about his work.
all depends tho dont it?Quote:

Fruity?!
yup......thats what he uses.....with fukin good results...
that why i hate when folks say its shite...
its all about the user.
The old versions of Fruity were terrible, I've seen results of people comparing the output of it against other programs and it shows just how bad Fruity was, but everyone agrees the sound rendering engine is up to a professional level with the newer releases it's just mud sticks and Fruity is still suffering from it's earlier problems.
yeh, ive had folks saying to me....."its too tinny" etc .......
with results like jamies, it aint the program thats at fault, its them users...
It's too tinny is a shit complaint, since that's a well known signal distortion (radio signal type), so people should be able to compensate for it without too much effort.
there tons of actively releasing producers using Fruity, and Jamie moved over to Fruity a couple of years back when the older versions were all that was available, and he was still knocking the goods out
its never been a problem with the software, just the users
big up to Jamie Ball
the most records he has delvered were absolutely cool and fresh stuff...
Looking forward to hear some more quality bangers from this guy ;)

"THE MACHINIST EP" - 4X4 25 - JAMIE BALL AND JULIAN LIBERATOR
gonna be trouble!
check your pm j
Thanks for the link to the set, sounds like some serious bootie shaking techno
Is that a wraph of the punisher remix I hear in there?
Sort of, it's actually a bootleg I did that's a mashup of a few tracks from Waveforms 3 on one side and some other business on the other. But yeah, the piano 'bite' is from Wrath...
It's on the record CYNIC001 by the way, which is sadly out of stock at www.just-music.com but is getting re-pressed soon. Ya might find it elsewhere, anyway.
Also, regarding this tune, I gots to say this :
THIS RECORD (CYNIC01) IS >NOT< A SPACE DJZ BOOTLEG. IT WAS NOT PRODUCED BY THEM. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SPACE DJZ. IT'S SOLD PRETTY MUCH EVERYWHERE UNDER THEIR NAME AND I DON'T KNOW WHY. NEITHER DO THEY. MAYBE CAUSE BEN'S DONE SOME MILLS BOOTS N'ALL. BUT, ANYWAY, IT AIN'T SDJZ. IT'S ME. ONCE AND FOR ALL :-)
u tell um boyo....Quote:

You should spin in Leeds sometime
It's a live set, not a mix....Ummm.... Well...... It's a 'mixed' live set, if you will. Kind of. There's no records and they're all my own beats. Draw from this what you will ;-)
With regards to playing in Leeds, I'm down with that. If you know any promoters who'd be interested in getting the shit thumped out of their club then let me know !

Have you spoken to Gary and Andy from Pure Techno?Quote:
