kay d smith but thats only because I have never seen him, nice to see its not all trance gav ;)
the trance is in the trance room
sheet ( mark sticks his foot in his mouth) sorry the impression i got was your "techno" room was all hard dancy since you got the new venue, gunna have to get our selves over at some point if thats not the case  defo for either of these heavy weights anyway
I'd rather see Kay D Smith out of those 2...
na, the main room is techno all the way, we are running a hard dance room seperate for all of that, you should come down though we have had some wicked nights so far :love:Quote:

Not that it should really matter but was it empty?
K D Smith :rambo:
KAY D. SMITH
yeah i havent heard many lars klein sets, but kay d. smith can get down
Kay D Is a Killa
I'd go for Lars Klein mate.... and me again of course! ;)
id have to say Lars m8, i saw him at Fusion & he was supurb, great selection of choons, utter quality!! i cant say anythin about Kay d as i aint heard or seen him mix.
Burt Bacharach.
Tony Bennett
the master, no way, few clubs can afford him.Quote:

sorry Trax only just spotted this
it was totally empty, about 50 people in the whole venue, the venue was The Sanctuary, do the maths haha
but i played a set before him and certainly didnt look as lacklustre as Lar's, an off day perhaps, but Kay D still creams it!
I heard Lars Klein, and i liked his set a lot. plenty of his stuff in the set, which impressed me a lot, because i'm addicted to his tracks.his DJing is not spot on, but he's very good, deffo..
Ive never heard K.D.Smith.. so i would book both
If you booked them both Kay D would cream Lars, in hardness fully. and Technically. Lars is certified programming, but kay d is kay d.
Yeah, could get one, then the other a bit further down the line, if you like them both, seems like a fairly even spread in terms of who people would prefer. I still reckon you should consider Andreas though, someone should at any rate, and the closer to me the better!
You should have done a poll to keep tabs of who's in front more easily!
Are you saying your set was better than Lars Klein's? I hope other people told you the same thing and it's not just your opinion! Though if he's played in Birmingham before and didn't get much of a crowd then maybe it should be Kay D... What night was that then?Quote:

it was Subsonica, last year and i dont think the problem is people not liking Lars but a bit of a problem with promotion
yeah but if you got loadsa gigs were a big producer were used to vibing off that big crowd and got faced with an empty club you may not be on top form either mate,,,,, I dont think a performance in a dead club is a good way to judge a dj,,,,Quote:
