Erm what about Immersion !!!???? and Chris Lib !!
Immersion I nearly put, but I decided to put DAVE instead as some of the latest stuff he's produced has been awesome. Lawrie's use of the 303 was/is superb though. Very very fu*ked up sounding (in a good way!). DDR is the king for me though, and for old skool goodness, Hardfloor are amazing!
i'd have to say Henry too, always loved his growling 303's, and different sounding 303's like he used in world war 303 and build up the pressure.
lawrie is always up there too, and i'd also add Rowland to the list, Rowland knows how to make great acid lines that fall in and out of each other if you know what i mean, lines like whats in ritchie harris used my daughter and loves gotta hold of my gonads
Aye, Rowland's early Bionic Oranges were great.
DDR :notworthy:
Dave The Drummer, Chris Lib, Kris Needs , Acid Ted, Pete Skank, Geezer, Lawre, RTB and more more
dont forget about personalities like:
Andreas Krämer aka Junk Project, Emmanuel Top (love hes acid tracks ), Hardfloor, Tim Taylor or Tommaso De Donatis.
Yep, I agree with you on Emmanuel Top. Acid Phase, what a classic!
yeah Emmanuel Top always was one of my fav producer ever, a lots of wicked acid tracks he made.
anytime when i listening old Microwave Prince tracks like "Golden Times" or "Cyclic Evolution" i feel total excited... pure acid ballads
anybody here remmember about this producer ?
1. Lasse Steren
2. DDR
3. Hardfloor
4. Henry Cullen
5. Yo Mami !
Special mention to Rob Acid & Steve Stoll as well.
geezer, how many classics have been released by this man? :notworthy:
Oooh! Yep, forgot Guy! Might not be liking his RAW sound, but fu*k me he's made a shed load of classic acid tracks in the past.
Tim Taylor, Dan Zamani, Damon Wild.
Immersion
DDR.
All good in different ways.
Hawtin and Hardfloor did a lot of groundwork
aphex twin nuff said
DDR without a doubt.
probably DAVE and DDR...as Magnum Force...that big growling acid line in Unlucky Punk is probably one of the best i have ever heard!
how could i forget this
Choci and solar quest they were the kings
he unleashes beasts on choci chenws!
yep , geezer is awesomeQuote:

pevrick from ketamine sounds
at the moment im gonna agree with EMMANUAL TOP, LASSE STEEN and APHEX TWIN
also i think i'll add DR WALKER , FUSE , THOMAS P HECKMANN...
that'll do for now :)
Emmanual Top...damn yea !!
Hardfloor...Booya!!
but
Robin Whittle...is the king!!!!
The 303 doesn't have a master. It does what it does.
Hardfloor, without a doubt the masters...
i'd say DDR :> and of course Jon Nuccle with Mike Humphries :> as a D.O.M. i mean :]
also Henry Cullen with Kris Needs !!
ddr and those cooperatives are amazing imo !!
:D
i don't think there is a 'king' all those mentioned above have all produced excellent 303 based tracks but so have a lot of other people. Alot of the greatest tunes in my opinion have been collaborations trying to pick one producer who's the best seems impossible to me: depends what mood i'm in, some days i can't keep away from routemaster other days i prefer the smitten vibe, tomorrow i might just rinse geezer stuff do you know what i mean.
A mix of all my favourite 303 tunes would probably contain a fairly even mixture of producers!!
that was quiet zen of you mr.trash :)Quote:

yes Fernando!
Important Records is serious business
i played a fernando track that nite we played in NJ henry wikid
if we given it up for dr F then we must give it up for Carsten "Plank" Bleekman & Jürgen Driessen
those 2 were monsters on the silverbox
hardfloor and geezer
Agreed, just as pioneering in their own way as Ramon & Oliver.Quote:

Dan Zamani, wrote the Acid line for the biggest selling acid techno tune ever sold. (reportedly over 45,000 copies!)
Which was Pump Panel - Confusion Remix - on FFRR and Missile (featured on the Blade soundtrack)
YouTube - New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Remix)
YouTube - The Pump Panel - Confusion (Dub Mix)
Of course Dan also made Ego Acid, another huge tune back in the day.
guy called gerald
YouTube - A Guy Called Gerald - Voodoo Ray
for acid tech - split between ddr and dtd. But going back a bit would say dj pierre, someof his acid house basslines were awesome. Acid Trax, The bug, Box energy, Fantasy girl, Dream girl to name a few.
don't forget abt Pete Skank - bit underrated producer, he made some amazing acid releases in the past.
Oldest skool - Armando fo'sho. Still absolutely love Land of Confusion
Old skool - Hardfloor - those boys keep churning it out - last LP is great
Now/recent-ish - DDR - many classics under his belt
currently without doubt it's got to be geezer. guy mcaffer.
see goldfinger.
