We never had a shot on goal,it was the worst performance i have ever seen from a boro side.Maclaren is totally inept,how the **** he works with England is beyond me???? He took off our only attacking player and made the team sit back against Blackburn.

Now when i started going to Boro we were shitter than shit,in the 3rd division and finishing mid-table but at least we showed passion and the players loved the club,most of these are just here for the money,its terrible.No joke,if he is still manager next season,im not gonna renew my season ticket.I'll save my money and buy that cdj 1000 instead.

Seems like Almunia actually had a pretty decent game, though he owed us after his howler let the Scum win last season in this competition, it's about time we won the competitions we have yet to win under Wenger I reckon! (Apart from the Uefa cup, not bothered about that). I think we showed good spirit to beat Doncaster the way we did and a bit of quality, up front at least. Doncaster were a good team and gave it their all, but we did what we had to in a below par performance, the result's the most important thing.

I think we'll have to field a stronger team against Wigan though, after seeing what they did to Bolton (glad they got knocked out). At least we've got a 2nd game though, so we won't get knocked out if we field an understrength/inexperienced team in the first leg... We're only 3 games away from some silverware so I think we should make sure we win, we can spare some of our big names for a game or two and hopefully we'll have signed a few more players by the time we face Wigan.
