but the more I hear it the more I love it, one of my all time fav tracks.

surgeon's "Badger Bite/Pet2000" on the Downwards label is awesome too...
pure hypnotic dark grinding organ funeral style techno...
everytime i play this track, i just imagine being in a funeral while the coffin is being slowly walked by zombies down the aisle...
haha! :)
No my friend, it's a very pleasant little ditty :lol:Quote:

EXCELLENT TUNE. IT FLOWS ALONG BEUTIFULLY.
DU DU DU DU
DU DU DUDU
DUM DUM DE DUM DUM, DUM DUM DE DUM DUM
(ive just realized im worse at typing a techno tune than i am at singing them)
that's a damn fine word processed translation...good effort :lol:Quote:

Sorry, isn't that the same riff as in the original?
I think people should give a little bit more credit to that mix!
The remixes are just the usual mediocre drum loops
with the riff over the top.
I think Broom and Hill deserve a mention at least for coming up with
a quality tune in the 1st place!
Yeah I like the original too, but the surgeon mix is better imo.
Agree completely with Miles here. In my opinion there was no need for remixes at all. The original said everything that had to be said. Personally I don't think Surgeon's strength lies in remixing, can't think of a strong one i've heard by him really...
i think you need to listen to tony's remix of steve bicknell's why and for whom redfined.. before you state that .. quite possibly the best remix i have ever heard.Quote:

his mix of nurture is my favourite remix by him.
if my tone sounded a bit topsided up there, i was well hammered when i posted that no offense. hehehe
Check out his remixes of the Advent and The 65D Mavericks.
The real ****ing deal!!!
Right of remixes I've heard by Surgeon and my opinion:
Angel Gate by Shufflemaster on Tresor- average
Booster by Plannetary Assault Systems-ok
Zoom by Damon Wild-boring
...don't remember being too blown away by the mix of Birmingham either. My controversial statement refers to what I've heard by him, much prefer his own original material. I realise there may be good remixes he's done, I haven't heard them yet though! Will watch out for the ones that were mentioned here...
None taken! Think I've been guilty of posting when I've been hammered in the past too :)Quote:
