I bet it's a 33rpm on Negativa innit?
Anyone in the know?
dont know for certain but it has 3 mixes, so i'd assume so.
Louk
It's also got a god awfull vocal running through it, "I wanna fly high in the sky" no kidding man. The only decent one is the S.H.O.K.K mix which hasn't been tampered with.
But why mess with perfection aye?
Yeah... Icarus is beautiful work of trance and is perfect on its own.
Yeah thats what I'm buying it for, sorry I should have said, I wanted to know if the SHOKK mix was 33rpm?Quote:

- the orig is still about in quite a few places just not the blue pressing anymore ...

the orig is on planet traxx innit...
doh yeah .... Im a dream dreamer ......

Sorry pardon my ignorance but why the deal with a 33 or 45rpm record?.
If its the same tune then surely it shouldn't matter?.
Yeah I had in on Drizzly a while back. Its got a picture of Icarus on the label. :wink:Quote:

Yeah that's another reason behind not liking 33's, I'll buy them but if I can get it on 45...then 45 all the way...Quote:

Can't beat a good ol original copy, both sides are proper banging, the flulicht original is truly uplifting and it doesn't have a gay vocal!
Show off
8)
someone said to me before it was easier to mix a 45 ,how do you work that out ,45 33 they both exactly the same to mix imo
Yeah but you have to know that you don't move the pitch as much with a 33 as you do with a 45. Some people probably don't know that and that's why they find it difficult.
At the end of the day tho.Quote:

Sorry guys, It's the first time I've heard of this.
Will :)
The original thing we said was that the quality of a 33 is SHIT compared to the quality of a 45.
meh, not so much that ppl care tho. ive got badly pressed 45s.
as for the mixing being different, i cant say ive ever noticed. maybe i can just mix properly tho and dont blame the records for being the wrong speed ;)
cheeky
a) you have to push a 33 with more care...Quote:

the worse thing is when you actually in the mix with a 33 if you apply to much pressure to the platter to slow it down it can go right out and **** the mix up....whereas on a 45 its easier to sort yourself out if you get me...
takes the ****ing piss!!!!
as soon as i put this post up to see whether it was worth buying or not it ****ing sells out on germantrance within a few days!!!!
****ing mother-****ing **** ****!
right thats it, own up, who bought a copy....
