Just for a bit of Friday fun...
"Ok, you've not long left to live, just enough time to mix 2 records, you have the worlds most awesome set up in front of you, and a crowd ready to rock...Which 2 records do you pull out of your box?"

GO! :cheese:
For me, I'd say, Deetron's "I Believe" on Music Man, with Kobaya's "In Groove" on Recon Warriors mixed in.
The reason? The piano riff In "I Believe" is superbly infectious, and the b-line is completely out of hand, and the finger clicking percussion on "In Groove" mixes in so well before the big "check this out vocal" that signals the bass drop.
Great fun to mix! :cheese:
Too tough.
mmmm
hyper on experience - Lord of the null lines
x-313 dave clarke mix.
ooooo tough one.
erm.. probably the weathermen - domination (by any means possible) then slow it down to 120/125 on the run out (the joys of ableton!!!) and drop kelis - trick :cheese:

ant+rackitt surge let it play out then routemaster 20 ****in avinit ere
It's not techno but I'd go out blissfully:

i dont know what id play for sure but my second track would have one of those locked grooves at the end so it just keeps on playing like the free 7" wi pgv 25..... just to buy myself some time to enjoy something else..... and i know what i definitely would not play..... mark tylers 'damnation'..... i wouldnt fancy that being the anthem to my death.... 'welcome to damnation' over and over again!!! - i think it would sound a bit ominous!!
Peace division - Come at you
into
Rolando - knights of the jaguar
Good call on the A-Team theme! I've dropped it before and it's gone off... :cheese:Quote:

James Ruskin - Work (original mix)
Jeff Mills - The Other Day B2
DJ Funk - XTC
Spokesman - Acid Creak (Pierre's Reconstruction Mix)
similar to inquisitors..
ruskin - time and place
mills - detached
I would slap on Disco Tamination, then space invaders are smoking grass
I am torn between two choices here:
Well, the record that would have been playing already would have to be "Right to Party" Lawrie Immersion on Prolekult - Kult 21....
Then either:
"Eating Chinese" Zero on Bionic Orange 18b into
"Madness" Remixes B-side' Igor Farenhieght on Smitten
or:
"The Hero" Zero on Bionic Orange 18a into
"This Whole World is in a Helluvva State" Rozzers' Dog S.U.F. 59b
My head would be blown clean off anyways...!!!
Can't decide which two records, but probably as people need to enjoy my last mix, i would go with Mills - The Bells and then Rolando - Knight of the Jaguar
Probably cursor miner - grilling the cheese with a load of filthy punish loops over it... then leave the last one running so I could go out and get a last burger and shag before I cashed my chips. :cheese:
geezer - shut up, wait til after the jello sample ends, drag the needle and drop propaghandi - todays empires, tomorrows ashes. jump in the crowd and start a circle pit.
**** it, they aint my needles.
Then jump into the amboy river eh?
too clean. east river is more my level of filth. maybe even arthur kill.
Lol Arthur Kill
You can catch a ride with the cops on their jet skis at port elizabeth
PA has jet skis now? glad all that federal funding isnt going to waste...
nah it's the elizabeth police on their off time
new wave of acid techno-lawrie immersion and chris lib
into
us and them - pink floyd
then i would do my dramtic " shot in an old skool western movie " dying routine
and as i am slumped on the floor propped up by my womans lap i
would say " the moneys in the......"
and die gracefully
probably
probably hardfloor groupie love then into the stone roses waterfall, don't know how i'd manage that, but who cares, you're going to die anyway
was amazing hearing waterfall being played at a party this weekend just before i left, always makes the hairs stand on end for me :cheese:
