i was thinkin shud i shut this post :laughing: but no he has been loyal to united an a very good servant to his country an he has been consistant for both club an country on the pitch,canit see him gettin back in to england team with micah richards doin the biz

it wouldn't really be fair for him to walk straight back into the United first team as Wes Brown has been playing really well...

Richards can play left back too apparently, so I'd imagine it's cashley bumhole whose gonna have to improve his performances if he wants to keep his place.

as it is, I reckon Nev will get his England place back as soon as he's fully match fit.

it's a controversial opinion I know, but I'd drop Terry and put Richards in the middle before I'd even consider dropping Gary Neville.

dropping terry will not happen thats one thing we all know,he'll be in the squad but cant see him gettin back in unless someone at the back gets injured

he'll be back in the starting 11 as soon as he's match fit. of that I have no doubt.

unfortunately, the big doubt in my mind is if he ever will come back and/or reach match fitness.

I agree Terry won't get dropped, but it doesn't mean he shouldn't be dropped.
Maybe that's the crux of england's problem. the fact that we don't have a single p player in the squad who would be a good choice for captain.

gerrard = not good enough performances for england. not an automatic choice for the starting 11.
terry = bit of a cunt + not one of the 11 best players available to england when everyone is fully fit. (i.e. he is an automatic choice, but shouldn't be).
rio = bit of a flash cunt, but probably the best choice from the current squad.
rooney = too hot headed. maybe good choice for the future.
lampard = :laughing: yeah, right.
neville = according to most behind the scenes reports, has been england captain in all but name since shearer retired from international football. still wouldn't be my choice.

i watched england vs scotland euro 96 on espn classics the other night and i must admit i liked neville back then.....england were an excellent team back then, played some quality football...one of the best teams england had, really under achieved...gazza was a leader!
