I play my tracks through a speaker connected to a fish tank, and record the wave pressure. The aquatic compression is unfathomable.
Did you ever try anal compression? I find the colon an absolutely joyful compression chamber!

am confused so please help me - the urs reads as a "multi-console EQ/dynamics plug-in" and further down you all started talking about compression are they the same thing.
i read these threads to get ideas about what stuff to get but if its a compressor i use sonalksis which i like alot and will probably not buy it in this case.

its a channel strip
input->filters>eq>compressor/limiter
and each stage has multiple analog emulations.. they dont actually use names but the general concensus is SSL, neve etc
