hydraulix is a fantastic label and henry is a fantastic producer, still loving routemaster and stay up forever aswell, i still fondle the first D.A.V.E the drummer record i ever bought, it was world war 303, i picked it up in hmv of all places, i was a late comer to london techno but i've managed to build up a nice collection. london techno still manages to knock me off my feet and at the same time give me goose bumps to this day, im going to go and get drunk now.
hydraulix is def a good label,,,i like some of their older releases a lot,,,
i like remains, counterbalance, compound, novamute, working vinyl, heroes, definition, infrastructure, seismic, gotham grooves, acardipane, and a lot more...
i like a couple of other labels too , like powertools , SUF, RAW , routemaster...but u know...i really love all of hydraulix releases...
the top for me...
cheers
cant forget punish,,,also new us labels i like r mafia and droid
downwards, more recently - logistic
The whole Truelove collective is just the bollocks. They keep free techno alive in the UK - which is a struggle after the criminal justice bill and recent economic climate in music.
 And they are all really friendly from what I've seen - none of that "I'm famous so I gonna act like a tosser" shite.

Tsunami, Warm-Up, Emergence, Sheep, Adverse, Rxxistance

have a listen at bangingtunes.com - if you want a good flavour of british and a few european releases.
kanzleramt ... my fave label in 2002 and 2003
here are some of my favorites:
Zync, MB Elektroniks, Kne'Deep, Ingoma, Advanced, Pornographic, Drumcode, Primate....
Kne'deep, Advanced and Drumcode i'd definitely go along with... Zync have gone a little off the boil for me though, last good one imo was Adam Jay's EP.Quote:

I don't know Adam or his music. I'm hoping that "Adam Jay is rotten!" will be adopted by his devotees as a chant, then by himself as a rousing yell during breaks in his set. Like "Primus suck."
Counterbalance, Downwards, Tsunami, Sheep
Blueprint, Coda, Downwards, Dynamic Tension... This year i'd probably go for Burkat's Still Music.
God come on this is ridiculous! What an amazing year it's been for music.
If I was to say one:
Hmmm..
Submissions.
Purely because of the quality of the releases in such a small amount of time.
you know my favorite label is JERICHO!
I don't know...I don't really have an exact favorite label. Inside has always been one of my prefered choices for years. As for this year I'd have to say Sway. Not everything was top notch on the label but I always found something to fit into my sets on almost every release.
interesting chat about adam jay.. ive been told this rumor a lot before all this shit has been written. i also had the feeling that he changed on the psots he used to do BUT the people near him say he didnt change.Quote:

so all that i can say is that you have to meet the people to get real idea of what they are and stop talking like this hehhe.
Why, what is the problem with Adam. Has he rubbed someone up the wrong way? Personally, I've never found much of his too entertaining
i dont dig his stuff either, but 000000 gave us link to a htread on discogs.com about him (see the link) .. i dont thnik it is really necessary to discuss aobut this once more and we should stay on the topic.
as i ve already give the good label for 2003 i can say that tresor was kinda disappointing this year (the "true spirit" compilations excluded). probably coz the club had too bad problems they were too busy to run the label as htey used to do.
Didn't the A&R at Tresor just get handed over to Mad Max or someone?
although it will prob change by tomorrow, mine is main out
i like defected and nukleuz
i agree with that! very nice label!Quote:

i thought max had been doing the A&R for some time now..
for the lighter stuff , heroes , pounding grooves , compound etc.
hard stuff, pcp , aca, cunt records, xbones, Third movement, respect the cock records.
sway theory submissions (2!) heroes (x1!) but anyway so many great trax on so many labels :wtf: working vynil!
keep that rhythm going YES! :Þ
Hard Lounge Records is my fave.
The Dark Side of the Spoon and Other Swing Classics by Sleazy P Martini.
What a Track.
for what my pennies worth, my favs are primate, mb electronics, x series, apex, hydraulix, cluster and bxr italian imports
Compound,,definitelly.my No.1.,. close on it's back is breathing PlanetRhythm,,followed,.by Submissions
There's been too many labels this year, Submissions, Compound, Unknown Forces, Artillary, Combat Skills, Highball, Kne'deep all quality releases and quality acts.
2004 is hotting up to be a great year for techno in all its forms.
Marc Snow used to do the A+R, he left Tresor this year (Not to be confused with "Mark Snow")Quote:

There's way too many to mention, but I'll list a couple of my favs if I can remember them....
From the Swedish camp: Sway and Illegal did some nice things last year, also Embowel (although they've only had one release)
From the UK: Drumworks, Submissions, Compound (GM in da house) and our very own Blackout Audio all rocked the floors
Everywhere else: Invasion, Purples, Clau and CLR, Su:Real, Masters Of Disaster and Ascend all had some consistantly tasty releases
I'm stopping there before it gets out of control!
Planet Rhythm, BlackOutAudio, Kne Deep, CLR...
