Had a bit of an Idea, not sure how many people would be up for it but who's on for a "Your take on Minimal/Acid/Techno" mix off?
3 Mixes each, winner gets bragging rights (Unless any of the mods have the power to do owt else?)
1) Minimal mix
2) Techno mix
3) Acid mix
We whinge and moan about different genres, I know I do, lets throw it aside and see your take on it.

okay so 3 seperate mixs , only problem i dont have any minimal techno and I wud just bored of mixing it within seconds ha ha sorry danny not feeling this i cud do acid , techno , schranz(hardtechno)
sounds good like, got some minmal all on cd though need to borrow by mates cdj for the minimal mix, only got 1 cdj myself at the moment

as said early ill be up for it, but the miniml i will play is Swedish techno like hardcell and grinvik/adam beyer thats how mininiinmainminmininmal ill go
Whatever you deem as min, go for it. It's all about "your take on it".
I am up for it!! cool idea. Do you want each mix to be 30 min? or 1 x 30 min mix with the 3 sections?

This is a terrific idea. However I dont think I would be able to pull it together in time.

heres my take on minimal , restricting for me as i dont have much of it, but here it is enjoy
loving this!! I aint even listened to my records for some years now and this has given me the opertunity and incentive to get onto all sorts of stuff I never even rearlised I had!!
I have 2 nice piles for techno and acid but my minimal pile contains 3 records lol
I am going to have to get creative with the minimal, oh hang on!! its minimal - doh! :)
Edit - So inspired by this I am, I have just got myself a new mixer!!

here's mine... mixing is a bit ropey, but there's some good bits thrown in there. you might want to smoke something before you put on the minimal set ;)

Hey Echodek, I have only had time to listen to the techno mix at the moment coz of work and my band's gigs. (I have all three on my desktop though!)
Just listening to the techno mix now and I am loving it man. nice tight mixing, good control! great tunes. Its basically got everything I look for in a mix. Buzzing man! Thanks for sharing!
