sorry folks, I dont have time to do this, started a new job last monday, 14 hour days for the next 12 weeks, plus 4 hours driving a day, looks like music is going to have to take a back seat for a bit.

I was thinking for some kind of voting system. annon like. So set up a soundcloud account which we all have access to to upload the tracks and then we vote on the one we rate best.

Started work on a track but the TB res pot decided to play up, so I had to use conductive paint to repair the damaged area after taking the pot apart. Sounding good though. Using a TR-909 through a Mackie with plenty of effects, limiters and compressors.

After a few false starts and a trip to Arron C place, where I programed a real 303 for the first time. I decided all the 303 lines I had written in midi were crap, So I have rewtitten yet again using the abl2 sequencer instead.

What I shall do is create the page and have you all send on your tracks to me via PM. I will upload them and then put them to the vote here- annonymous like so no one knows who did the track and we'll run the votes for a couple of days etc
I have to bow out as I f*cked my USB ports up.
On the page the tracks will be Track A, Track B, Track C etc if you get me.
I want the votres to be done on the merrits of the track and not mates voting for mates- level the field for all.
I shall run a new comp next month too. keep you posted on that.

I have learnt so much from doing this. It has been well worth the time and effort. Acid is not my normal style, and i stopped playing it about 2003, so it has been fun going back and revisiting.

Well I have a track done, but I can't use my controllers to finish it in a live environment. I will just have to use automation and see what happens. Im going to submit her anyway, she's a wild one for sure.
she's not a winner though. good fun all the same.
