As far as pioneers of using computers in music or electronic music then I'd have to say Kraftwerk, Delia Derbyshire, Gary Numan, Jeff Wayne(War of the worlds). I'd say these people had great vision & saw the worth in using computers in music, they took some of the first steps.
As for people having a the greatest inpact on electronic music, its completely subjective & down to personal view. I personally think a city has had the most impact, Detroit.
DAVE the drummer and the rest of the SUF crew, the ones that produce tracks anyway....the invention of London acid techno has changed my life!

kraftwerk were THE most important group for the emergence of electronic dance music, because they had the most powerful and direct influence on the music that emerged in 1980s detroit and chicago. but you have to put giorgio moroder, alexander robotnik, was (not was), etc. in the convo too.
as for all electronic music, well, then you have to go back to the 50s and tape music.
The beatles, Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock, The Pink Floyd... pioneers as well ;)
