Techno broadcast hosted by Miss Kosmix live from London

For the first ever broadcast of newly conceived radio show BLUSTER we are proud to announce the guest appearance of one of Slovenia’s recent jewels in the world of hard techno / schranz

LEXIS [cardiac arrest, beast music, kne’deep]

Lexis aka Damir Ademi describes himself as being from a little country in Europe: Slovenia. His first interests into what he labels as 'gorgeous' music was some 7 years ago when he admits becoming a music junky, a notion probably familiar to a lot of you out there. This is where the journey started for Lexis, who admits that the lack of gigs and the difficulty in getting them, for the rookie that he was at the time, quickly drove him into the production side of things. He tells us he has now been producing for two years and finds a great sense of satisfaction and joy in the creation of these tracks, much more so that trying to get gigs lined up. His first release was on an imprint run by Daniel Gloomy and DJ Ogi who gave him the take off platform from which to start his journey of sharing his feelings for the music with other people. He has now got many releases planned for the near future on imprints such as Cardiac Arrest, Beast Music, Brain Damage, Definition of Mayhem, Cannibal Society, Domestic Violence, Kne' Deep, Killfactory, Mental Torments, TechnoPride and DataBlender in a bid to represent the true meaning of his sound, which he tells us is to keep it hard and loud, just the way we like it!

Techno broadcast hosted by Miss Kosmix live from London

This show presents a freshly concocted live set from one newly
established and much respected producer and co-owner
of the Sound Attack imprint, hailing from the south of France

    RIINO [soundattack, armatura, beatboost]

Nourished by the first Acid House tracks, in the early 90's,
Riino has been immediately captivated by the psychedelik
sounds of the electronic parties, then by the power of
Hardtek parties. Dj in free parties and East France clubs
from 98, Riino has been quickly tempted by creating
his own tracks in various styles (from Electro to Hardcore)
keeping in mind a fundamental aspect : The Dancefloor.
Producer and Liver in the surbub of Paris and Bordeaux, he
releases a Techno track under the parisian Label
Buena Onda Records and under the english label Genubi
Records, then he founds "Overdrivers" with the artist Orteka :
a live battle going from the bouncing groovy Electro to
devastating oversaturated Hardcore. At the beginning
of 2007, Riino, Orteka and Attentat Sonore found the Label
Soundattack Record to take out of shadow Hardtek productions.

Techno broadcast hosted by Miss Kosmix live from London

For the third run of Bluster we are blessed with the guest
appearance of a well established producer and successful
label owner from east London with the hard but melodic beats

    MAXX [polymeric, carbon audio, soundattack]

DJ/producer Maxx, originally from Italy, is the owner and creator of Polymeric Records. He is well known at London

Techno parties for his broad taste in Techno from clubby to acid, to a more hard, raw edged sound, with rolling

bass lines. His label launched in 2006 and has had five very successful releases featuring tracks from DJ Ogi,

Chris Liberator, Jeff Amadeus, Ignition Technician, Concrete DJz, Pounding Grooves, 3phazegenerator and M3ld. His

inspiration largely comes from his love for the London techno scene having played at many of the free parties in

London and clubs and technivals in UK, France, Spain, Austria, Croatia, Poland and Italy, alongside Marco Lenzi,

D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Sven Wittekind, Ignition Technician, Pounding Grooves and DDR to name a few. Maxx has been

resident DJ for Koncrete party in London for one year now and he also released his tracks on Open Source, Generator

UK, Sound Attack and Carbon Audio Records. The last label, based in Austria, run together by Maxx and Rene Reiter

will hit the shops in January 2009, featuring Sterling Moss for the launch.

Techno broadcast hosted by Miss Kosmix live from London

This week BLUSTER brings you the man of all musical tastes
with a penchant for the funky wonky and mashed up beats

JEROME HILL [don’t recordings, groove asylum]

Jerome got his turntables in 1990 after being inspired by the pirate radio sounds of London. He began buying hip hop, house, breakbeat and early european techno . In 1994 he hooked up with infamous London soundsystem "JIBA" and further honed his scratching and mixing style for which he has now become known. Jerome has always followed his own musical path , constantly sniffing out exciting new (and old) tracks to add to his sets while never paying attention to current trends. Jerome runs his own label DON'T (www.dont-recordings.com ) since 2000, releasing maverick techno music and is resident dj at UGLYFUNK, now based in london whilst regularly playing around the world. He managed London`s "Trackheads" and "Dragon Discs" record shops in Camden Town for 7 years and is half of GROOVE ASYLUM, (the other half being Rob Stow).

    .:BLUSTER007:.
    BRAP.FM / 1800-2000 GMT / 09 APR 09
Techno broadcast hosted by Miss Kosmix live from London

This week Bluster presents South Africa’s wicked techno phenomenon: this young lad has been rockin dance floors around the globe and is treating us with a special birthday set!

    ANDRE FRAUENSTEIN [giveway, primary instinct]

Born and raised in South Africa, Andre Frauenstein started DJ'ing at the tender age of 13. With a passion for music & DJ'ing he went all out to break into the industry, which was already brimming with talented artists. Throughout the years he's become widely acclaimed for his intense stage presence, as well as his outrageous antics behind the decks, spanning several different musical scenes and movements. Andre quickly moved in to DJ at top clubs and events around the world, such as Loveparade Germany (1.3 million clubbers). His endless dedication & passion having paid off, Andre is now known as the leading Hard Techno DJ/Producer in Africa, with his music being played by the biggest artists in the Hard Techno scene in the world. His tracks being released on various labels, such as 'Around the World' 'Giveway Records' and various compilation albums. What punctuates Andre Frauenstein's skills as a DJ and producer, is his capacity to not only incorporate diverse genres and styles, but to transcend them by infusing his music with pure emotion and loyalty. For Andre, gratification comes in the doing, not in the results. 'James Dean'
