I will try, it's always a momentary shot and i surely COULD live without any of these:

    - Crysonic Spectralive NXT (partial to newB as well)
    - Nugen Audio Monofilter

    - Voxengo Glisseq (esp. because of it's spectral overlay function!)

    - Sonalksis Compressor and Eq (for usability and allover niceness);
    - NI Battery is becoming more and more attractive
    - Elevayta Spaceboy

These are the ones that jumped to my mind. Esp. for compressors i think you can get very nice results via freeware. With FX as well. Some nice Eqs as well.

    Disclaimer:
This list ain't complete by any means, leaves out loads of great freeware and is more fx-based.

the whole waves collection means everything to me. i just couldn't work without them. it's the essential collection bar none.

then the ableton plugins - my god how easy and quick are they to use??

    then i'd be screwed without:

tc native bundle (purely for the side chain comp for both my mac and pc)
camel audio crusher/phat (i would die without these)
arts acoustic reverb (no other verb comes close imho)

all other plugs are toys :)

    URS Compression and EQ plugs.
Now I have tasted these beauties, I can`t live without them.
Waves is all but in the bin if it weren`t for the L3.

Synapse Audio Hydra. The best bass synth bar none. It goes lower than all other vst`s and holds it together right down to silly low notes C2-C1, you can feel the air physically moving with this baby. Plus the low pass on it is pure evil.

    Sonalksis Stereo Compressor.
    It`s just amazing.

    Voxengo Marquis.
Again, amazing, fantastic response, and really silky too.

    FM7/FM8
Gotta love FM synthesis, and now with morphing capabilities it`s a wet dream.

    Pro 53.
Just too damn versatile to lose it.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

yeah URS EQ and Compressors are just lush, the Ferrero Rocher of the VST world

Kjaerhus plugins always in my setup, love the EQ's and the Filter especially

Pro 53. The chords presets alone are enough. Total Workhorse

ABL Pro. Same, can do the lot. Lovely stuff

Korg Legacy Collection, MS20 and Polysix mainly always in my tracks

Tweakbench plugins are underestimated for the electronic side of things too, some insane stuff for free there

    Thanks man

I use most of my plugins out of familiarity rather than quality to be honest.
I know how to work the ones I use, so just stick with them.

I seriously doubt any of them are best in class....

Will track down the IR Verb. Nice one!
