sush... you can ask what you want ;)

well if somebody asked me to play a party and 'keep the techno funky' I would play
    - Hydraulix
    - MaxMin
    - Subvert
    - Jackstar
    - Bass Heavy Music (DJ Bam Bam)
    - Kiddaz FM
    - Ingnition Technition (Wilko)
    - Wedefeqawi
    - Pimp
    - DJAXUP

And probably drop in a few Cannibal Cooking Club and Si Begg to add a bit of fun.

    ...and well worth a check:
    - Victim
    - Crime
    - Stay Up Forever

Just listened to that filterhedz thing.
    aaaaaaaaagh
Yeah, I see the bassline thing
but the dicey carnival vocals, eeeeeeek
MAn, I do some commercial stuff, but no way do I get that close to the Camembert
    how dare they!!!
that does it, I`m only gonna make evil, nasty dark unlistenable, distorted, twisted, broken up, wrist slashing, satanic, techno from now on.
I`m gonna start a new genre, and call it Broadwater Farm Beats
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

I saw filterheadz live at I love techno a few years ago. It was ****in insane !!!! They had this crazzzy drummer right at the front and playing live. It was the tightest drumming I have ever heard live and they were bringing him in and out where they felt, it was amazing performance. I just had to add that

...and thats coming from someone who's not into the Filterheadz style, yea its not my cuppa tea. That Pa was something tho

DB I think you was listening to the rmx's m8. The original is better

As for Fergie, tuned in last friday for the first time. It was ok, he should play more differant styles tho imo, it was all funky club techno all the way, I never knew some styles of techno sound so cheesy. Mind you, they do that for a purpose, its friday night and people are on there way out so . Perhaps he should play some more experimental shit in the show and then do a clubby mix? I dunno, seems to get people curious tho so I dont think its bad at all

pornographic 13 is almost out and it has a gunjack track i would call a bit more on the funky edge of things. i like to make funky stuff sometimes, i think diversity is important.

i like that first ben sims hardgroove limited double pack. all samples and looped up but i dont give a f4ck you know? that shit is fun to mix and he was onto something cool when he was just freakin the loops like that.

Ive heard fergie a few times and he plays funkier side of techno

i think the funkier / tougher side of techno is mint, stuff by marco bailey and ben sims, quality

but i hate the term funky tho
