I thought 5 by Rob Stow was bloody good! 7 not so good for me, I find some of Woody's tunes lately a bit wishy washy, all weird and no direction or something like that.

I heard that about Rob's work on Hydraulix 5. In my opinion, it is because people listen to track and can not get there head round something with a wonky slant to it. I do not worry myself about people with a low musical-IQ more of the wicked stuff for me to buy and more unusual to play out. I bet they say that about Mark Hawking, Lo Max, Fugo, Aeox, Cannibal Cooking Club etc. never mind eh?

so long it ain't that lo-fi single loop shite that seems to be the order of the day for alot of techno.

    wonkity wonk wonk.

hmmm, well, I wouldn`t really say Stow was wobbly techno, he`s more along the mills/broom minimal ting.

    that`s pretty wonky right there.

Wobbley beats and sounds that are slightly off the mark.

It was 'wonky techno' that was said, not 'wonky 2 step'...
