    Default Paul van dyk-reflections album

very commercial but deffinatly catchy stuff.

ok were talking paul van dyk here so dont expect huge underground stormers but its got great remixies of the original album stuff but on vinyl. bonus. feel good tunesare the best way to describe them.
some i would deffinatly check out are:
buenaventura- uplifting and melodic trance with trade mark pvd stuff in place. really addictive riff that sounds really fresh and new.
thats life-vocal trance feat a male vocalist instead of usual female. another great uplifting feel good tune that would work well in clubs or the more commercial nature.

deffinatly worth 15 as you also get all the singles hes released so far. id recommend to anyone playing in a commercial enviroment or people who are after feel good tunes.

i honestly thought this was garbage. Nothing that really stood out at all, the same old PVD sound with some nice floaty riffs over the top.

Pvd pisses me off personally more each day, his VANDIT label is so good aswell.... just last few times ive seen him play, hes been well cheesy and his album imo is panty hose.

    fairy muff paul.

he has got some strong points and weak points.

which part of the album have you heard?

the original versions or the new ones on vinyl?

not that it would make a difference just wondering.

Not really mate, just hard to be positive about something that i thought was a poor effort.

Did come across slightly harsh i suppose man, and cascade dont think it was against u or that... suppose it came across kinda shite.

but i really in this album only see an approach for the commercial market, and the exact same sound as PVD has used for years.

Even the tracks with fairly decent melodies annoyed me a little, thought it lacked any class, nothing new or creative. Bland would be the word im looking for. Some horrible vocals also.

When u put it against the high standard of trance that has come out this year, imo its totally below standard.

Very negative, but there were no positive notes in it for me mate, sorry.

Lets be fair with the negative note mate, when ur postin ur charts and radios shows with comments like "if anyone gives a shit", or "looks like im in the minority again"?

    whats wrong with that ;)

When I say looks like i'm in the minority i mean it as the majority of people above do not seem to like a track which I say I like....

however recently most the stuff you've commented on has been negative about how poor a tune is and i just noticed it thats all. I just remember a year ago when you were well positive about most things.... if ya get me... :)

if it offends then I wont do it again mind :)

    nay no offence taken mate,

yea it quite similar to stuff he has done in the past. dont get me wrong i dont like every track off it just the odd one, was deffinatly worthy of buying from my point of view cause i do like lots of commercial stuff.

the production on his tracks is bang on though even if its the same sound hes been using for years its a well produced sound.
    all in my opinion obviously.
    ;) ;)
