ableton midi sync

i sync my 909 to ableton all the time

but i don't use the 909 as the master, i figure my laptop's timing has to be tighter than a drummachine from 1984.

but you need very very low latency if you don't want it to drift, between 0-3ms.

doubt it , my 909 was allways rock solid , in fact any drum machine i have used has allways had a steadier clock than any computer bizzness
