    Default Tom X Nightmare

Really disappointed with this release, was lookin forward to it a week or so back, its a good tune, but everything just remains the same as cocaine, same breakdown, near enough riff, kick sounds exactly the same except it has changed a few notches..

Hope this bloke does'nt go down the scott project road, of repeating tracks, but altering them slightly, i find it boring and repetitive....

    Anybody else? ......

I prefer the Tom X days of "Free Your Feelings" and "Hentai" these are wicked tunes and they have the same sort of sound. There's a definite change in his style if you compare these to Cocaine and Nightmare (which I didn't really like). So I don't think he's going down the same road as Scot Project at all, these tunes are way too hard to be called commercial, although they use the same formula I predict that a few months down the line he'll be doing something different, that reminds me "this is your fantasy" is also different. Probably not fair to judge him on two tunes lets see if he does it again.

And what the bloody hell happened to tunes like Cosmic Vibes and Cases 9 (can't remember the name of it.) "shadows across the sky and the light goes by"

I remember that tune its a cracker ! There is another tune by bush on cases which is almost exactly the same but slightly different riff as well, think its a little older . Why is there a lack of proper hard trance tunes like this nowerdays or are we all getting old & past it !!

I suppose if they kept producing tunes like this using the same formula all the time we'd all get bored of it. Tom x's sound has changed a lot since I started listening to him and he's even producing techno now. fairplay! At the moment I don't happen to like his last two cases releases, probably coz i'm sick of reversed bass. But i'm sure he'll have something new and exciting for us in the future, maybe a one off release like the old stuff. That would be puka. At least he's changing with the times.

Yeh that bush release on cases was a bangin track i think, it changes a lot not just one on going track, bit like the trance generators style.
Im not really into tom-x, i think cocaine is the only decennt track ive heard from him..
