    sorry 2 say but i think M-Zone is a tad over-rated...

theres no doubt he is a good DJ but his mixing is pretty rougha lot of times and some of the tunes he drops makes me wonder sometimes.

i.e; DJ Isaac - Nobody listens to techno.... :dontevengothere:

That's fair enough... your of course allowed to think that... but the entire point of this post was not to illustrate whether M-Zone is good or not. HE WAS AMAZING at Dance Academy when I last saw him. Awesome in fact. And I just wanted to share this with people on the board...

It's not often I'm taken back by a set so much, this one was really really good and deserves a mention.

I disagree. I believe M-Zone probably practices them very well, the problem is that the mixes he does are so quick that he's not leaving him self much time to be sure its properly matched. He's got to get the vinyl ready to be cued up asap during the first break of the tune that's playing.

Saying that I don't know for sure, but I'd say any margin for error is totally gone in M-Zone's style of mixing because of how fast he does it.

Yeah, i agree with this Hakka. You've got to take into account - He has to cue up ASAP, he is in a club enviroment and he has to get tune selection right. As Hakka said, he mixes so fast, the pitch isn't spot on.

I vary my own mixes and when mixing fast, obviously you dont have as much time, so the odd beat will slip. Massive Bass changes is the key really.

at the end of the day if it wasnt for Mick none of us would be playing or listening to what we do now and for that i will always be grateful to him and give him the respect he deserves.

I do agree that sometimes his mixes are sometimes rough but as some people have already said with the speed he mixes at it is to be expected

When you are on the the dancefloor stomping to mick you are gonna stay rockin all the way through his set

sorry but i dont even class that as Hardstyle.

i class it as a cheesy moneymaking bootleg that makes me cringe!

I don't like DJ Isaac - Nobody Listens to Techno, it is quite poor release I feel and isn't good example of Hardstyle.

I've never heard M-Zone play it.

For F**K sake this shit keeps repeating itself repeatedly....everyone keeps slating mzone but how many of you can claim to command the repsect that mick has earned in the scene???? How many of you have play the amount of events he does each week??? lmao mick dropped that isaac tune at my event but ben how did the crowd react to it???? THEY WENT MAD!!!
tbh everyone has their own opinions but b4 some of you start slating mick please think of how much the man has acomplished in this scene, how much he has taken it to the the extent it has became in the uk today!! :dontevengothere:

    RESPECT GIVEN WHERE RESPECTS DUE!!!!

I give that to the tune though! it does go off, and the crowd do love it. It's one of those tunes that I've grown to dislike... think its Eminems voice over and over that's done it!

    lol...

There's much better hardstyle about, but that's just my taste/opinion.

its really bad that tune IMO. eminems voice does my nut in as it is, never mind when its saying 'nobody listen 2 techno lets go, nobody listen 2 techno lets go, nobody listen 2 techno lets go, nobody listen 2 techno lets go,nobody listen 2 techno lets go, nobody listen 2 techno lets go'...etc etc etc.....the sample doesnt even fit in properly in 2 the tune, it sounds out of time, and just sounds really shit IMO. even without the sample the tune is just the same kick and bass and noises that isaac uses in every single track he's ever made.

mind u, its not as bad as Thriller, but it dont get much worse than that!!!
