well quite possibly the stronger the scene the quicker the burnout...
Am not saying this will happen but could be a possibility......

I mean looking at the south west as a whole everyone seems to be puttin on an event of some sort small or large...

just a question down there for you guys, when events are held so frequently down in the south west, does the turn out for events, fall coz of the competition..

This a not a diss, i have a lot of respect, for the producers and artists down south, but was just wondering about your general thought on this..

i was speaking to a friend in Torquay/Exeter way, and he said its come to the point of pubs, playing hard trance/style.... On a friday night....Saturday night. Is this true?

Thanks guys and keep up the good work!!

to be honest i think right now things are good event wise... were not spoilt for choice, but were not flooded with them either thats for sure.. i think its just about right, about six- eight months ago there were too many things clashing and as you said they suffered from the "competition" but now things are smooth as i reckon! ....
    just my thoughts...

any other southern peps wanna elaborate on the vibe?? ;)

Yeah i have to agree with you there Chris.... not spoilt for choice but when there is an event its a good one!!!

like you said around 6 - 12 months ago there was alot of shit out there, very bad promotion, ****ing people over (DJ's and Punters), rubbish venues, not enough effort in the night!!!

We struggled with Subterrania, we were only given a small amount of money to put into the night and we couldnt afford to pump more of our own money in, like with me trying to get the label up and running.... so it was hard but we gave it our best shot!!!

When we were running the night there was oooo much competition all over the south west and too much choice, alot of choice of nights to go to but lack of quality within them!!

I think Tommo and Toby have the idea, less events and and every so often like bi-monthly but compensating with brilliant line-ups.... well done Tommo and Toby.... Hats off to you old beans!!

Glad to be part of it lads.

    Anyway rant over.....

Jay with every post you make your use of vocabulary is similar to that of Bender the robot off futurama, in a less offensive way.

Jolly good show old bean :)
