    Default Ben Balafonic...

    Anyone got any information on him, like what he's doing at the moment, etc.

    I keep seeing on the SUF website, that he's starting a label called Double 7, a breaks label, working with Chris Liberator & Rasmus, etc;

    It's had this info on there for ages, but I have heard nothing and seen no releases. Anyone know whats going on there?

    Does Mr Balafonic still produce techno? I think the last I heard of him was on Highwire (under the name Sergeant Steppa).

    I like his Highwire releases. Want to know if this Double 7 is going to take off...

    My mate saw him play at Warwick University fairly recently, but apparently he was playing sort of techno trancey stuff.

    He's definetly a good producer - Barstow with DDR on COSHH is one of my favourite acid techno records :clap:

    Si, Double Seven is already going, but it hasn't had any recent releases - don't know why...

    Anyway, Bangingtunes has numbers 1-3 in stock here if that's any help.

    Duh! I really am a fu*king plum...

    It's Double Seven, not Double 7. Thats why I wasn't getting anything up on www.discogs.com

    :lol:

    Ok, now I have put it in right, I see...

    DBLS001 - Sergeant Steppa - Rockers 2000
    DBLS002 - Bi-Polar - Hotshots EP
    DBLS003 - Sergeant Steppa - Rockers 2000 (Rasmus & Dreadzone remixes)

    Cool. Now to go and check the samples...
