How would you define techno and make sense in not more than thirty words for someone who doesnt know what it sounds like,
want to get an idea about what people think it should be like, everyone seems unable to agree on what it actually is , different things for different people it seems , you may think this is posted in the wrong place but i want producers to answer

its when i get down with my friends on the dancefloor and put shades on and get rockin with 3 pills and when dj starts to spin and i get down all nite long and it puts me in a deep deep extacy.

repetative electronic music with heavy 4/4 kick and a lot of percussion....good for taking drugs and raving all night long cuz it puts your in a trance....thats the definition of techno my friend...

lol... techno can b a lot of things... u have housy techno, electro tech, etc... u make a house tune more technish and it straight is tech house !!
So techno has a very wide range! :)
