I doubt very much that is true! But if it is, and as much as I love Stevie G, I think the board would be very stupid to turn down that offer!

2 quality players with a minimum combined value of £20m and a further £20m in the bank to spend on new stadium/players is an amazing deal if you ask me!!!!

cadamatri and ricketts look set to sign soon, both players have agreed terms. get in!!!

really chuffed about getting ricketts, i cant believe we have signed a player of his calibre. (seriously!) i really rate him as a player. i dont believe he really got a chance at boro last season, and it was only a couple of years ago he gained an england cap. as soon as he gets a good run of games, i believe he will return to the form that saw him smashing in the goals for bolton. as for cadamatri, i hope he returns to that form he shown as a kid for everton. hes a local boy also, so im pleased with that.

im actually starting to look forward to "coca-cola championship" football next season.

our opening game is at home against derby. got the new fixtures today.
