As far as the November show was concerned I would think it was such a hard crowd to move for a few reasons, one of the main ones being the fact that for the most part a lot of supporters didnt know the address of the relocation till a day before hand. The daylight loft was supposed to be the ultimate venue for you and wunsch to play at. and in my opinion would have reflected the promoters company in a more professional light. There were quite the bit of technical difficulties that evening. I dont think it has to do with taste in techno, the only reason ny's scene is the way it is, is because its run by scenesters who have an elitist approach that if they dont know you from high school or you dont sell records out by the bunch at satellite they dont know you exist. I will say there is an accute sense of ignorance to the harder stuff in New York yes. But if you would have been booked for arc or limelight i believe your turnout would have rivaled one of jeff mills crowd.
But there are a few that still keep it real as f*ck, Function, Wild, etc...........
