    Default mp3 recorders

I'm in the market for a new portable recording device... instead of getting a minidisc recorder, i was thinking about maybe a mp3 player with an input and record function...

which mp3 recorder would you folks recommend for recording live sets?

    I'm also in the market.

The iHP iRiver thinger looked like the perfect machine, until this link was pointed out to me by a helpful eBay seller...

Interested in hearing from other folks tho - I'm on the cusp of just picking up a used DAT walkman...

yep, same here.... for a hundred bux, i can get a md recorder....

I rather have an mp3 recorder though cause transfer the file in a second vs. having to record the whole set onto my pc.
