you can't argue against someones opinion, you'll like it or not.
But this remix is sounding so much better than the suntec releases lately, so to compare it with them?? nah, I think you can't.

But anywayz, it's NOT made to make profit out of it, since it's not really for sale.
So even if you reject buying it.. that wouldn't even be possible :)

and there is of course a difference in music made for the bigrooms, and the music for your homestereo set.
Maybe a track doesn't sound that great at home.. but great at a party. And maybe a track will have no effect on the audience in a club while it's great for listening pleasure right?

Nah i disagree mate, this would go down well in my local cheese den.

Im debating with u, like the local elections. Why play this to 30,000 peeps when u can play some quality music that doesnt resort to a good old helping of cheddar? Surely playing music that is a little less commercially orientated to such a large crowd would be better?

Ofcourse its probs not gonna see release, its a bootleg. How would they afford the samples, and in my view, if this sells out. It will do the round again like the crud hard house version and repressed a million times.

This isnt any better than suntec imo.

    This tune is absolutely awful.

It's not even done well, plus it's been done a million times before. Get some originality, get some better production skills and stop releasing abominations like this.

    good old helping of cheddar
hehe, gotta learn some Englisch expressions I think.

    anyway.
Of course you can say the track sucks and you don't like the fact that the sample is ripped from firestarter.
But my point of mentioning the 30000 people was to say it really gives a energy kick on the dancefloor. The overdriven guitars with the simple but catchy lead over it.
I didn't really meant that the track gets better when playing it in front of 30000 people in stead of less in a smaller room. You just like it or now.. I like it.

But to bring up the ripping in hardstyle.
In EVERY housemusic style music is ripped. The saifam releases of the past and present contain a lot of ripped samples aswell. Even complete 're-played' leads from tunes back in the 70s.
The latest suntec releases are influenced by other old and well known tunes aswell.

I think firestarter is some kind of holy track for you guys, since the production is in my opinion also technicaly better than releases on some other labels. In that case I totally understand it, because I also have that with certain tracks. (for instance born slippy, that's why I don't like the b-side of this bootleg)
But I never heared a remix of firestarter before, that's why it gives something extra to me.. and it's not because I know the ones who produced it.

Of course you're entitled to your opinion, everybody is - but we're discussing our opinions to form a conclusion on what we all generally think as a whole. So far, not many people are really for this track on here, but i'd be interested to hear from them if there is anyone else...

For me it's not just that the sample is ripped from Firestarter, you're right that a lot of dance music is based on some form of plagurism - but it has to be done well to succeed. It has to try something new with the material, and not just repeat what has already been done with a different bass - whcih is exactly what this track has done.

It's lazy and just stealing someone else's work to give yourself some acclaim to me. A lot of the Saifam tracks pay homage to tunes rather than just ripping them off. Alantic Wave - Reforced is how it should be done. More like a tribute to original track, and doing something else with it, rather than just chucking it over some tired bassline.

**** u lot read too much into ur tune's sometimes ha ha!!

Can't we just agree to disagree on this un??

I personally quuite like it even though I really ain't fussy on a lot of hardstyle re-mixes of well known tune's...........don't think it goes down well.........I think prodigy's sound goes well with hardstyle - love mixin voodoo people in with hardstyle and cuttin the harsh hardstyle noises into it.....

I think I'll like this un played the right way on a good system......... happens with some tune's........

my housemate's got a good ear for what sounds pants on ur pc but slam's on a decent set-up...... I;ve dissed him for buying some tune's, then when I hear him play em out am jealous I didn't pick them up (a couple of Sigma releases a few months ago spring to mind, can't remember the names right now)...........

we'll see how it goes innit!!

recent sigma releases only sound good on a system coz of their trademark bassline. The actual tunes comin out are pretty average imo

This is a discussion board for discussing hardstyle on though. This is discussing what we think on this tune. If you read my post I actually asked people who like to come forward and put their case forward.

aye - I know it is.........

but saw it gettin a bit pointless:

    "its wank"

    "not it isn't"

    "oh yes it is"

    "oh no is isn't"

............so the seemingly obvious conclusin so far being that some people like it, lotsa people didn't.....neither was gonna change their mind...... so there was definalty a disagreement.......... and rather than carry on with some

    "its wank"

    "not it isn't"

    "oh yes it is"

    "oh no is isn't"

could just say some like it, some disagree....and agree on that point....
