'Future Tribes - Deadlock' by Frank & Dominique is one of the best productions I have heard in a very long time!

When Frank sent it to me my eyes nearly dropped out of head head and my eardrums nearly exploded with the hard hitting impact of the kick drum in it!!! I was very f**king happy to have the privilege of being one of the first to play this out on a big system and it has had a prime place in every one of my sets since!!! It also still keeps the dark and eerie atmosphere that ASYS is well known for!!!

The flipside 'Future Tribes' is just as banging with a mass of skull-cracking distorted snarerolls and a whole lotta technoise going mad throughout!!!

It has already been licenced to cd comps Sensation (both white & black) through ID&T and Pharmacy volume 2 through Ministry of Sound!!!

Congrats on another premium quality release to the guys at Straight On recordings, and to Frank and Dominique!!!

I wouldn't say it was techy at all, I laughed when I saw that's what GT had it labelled as

the b side has a technoish sound to its structure untill the main lead comes in, i think both sides to this are cool
Sequence is coming. It's going throughout your imagination. It takes you where you've been before. A higher state of mind. Yeah, you remember the early times. Now were trying to take you again. In the deepest seas of your consciousness.....Time never stops

This tune is Dark & Dirty Hard German Trance at it's best. As you say the Kick Drum is very Heavy and the atmosphere is completely Underground.
But what i like about this tune is how 'minimal' it actually is. It's banging away with the Kick and Bass but it's keeping the Dark Trance feel to it by keeping the Synth so minimal. Very Precise!

Future Tribes is definatley crossover material, keeping the Pounding Kick Drum in force, rolling percussion, - classy production.
Builds up nicely, then the riff comes in with rolling snare drums sitting underneath. Solid!
Then the mood of the tune completely changes from the Tech vibes back into the Banging Dark Trance.
Amazing again, but just not as strong as the A Side.

I didn't like it either, not half as good as 'Knowledge'.
