does anyone know or has in the past made an online ordering system for somethin like a record store?


like a basketting facility and checkout?

i wouldnt even thing about writting one yourself unless your a dab hand at 128bit encription.

there are plenty of 3rd party software out there that will handle credit card details for you though

Yeah, dont even think about about making one yourself mate, cuase if your asking, then you deffo dont know enough to make it safe. Like stated, you can get software for this. You can get php based online shops which you download, set up onto your webspace with a mysql database, and then add your own goods.

yea just like this but i dont have 350 quid and the guy im doing it for wnats a budjet jobby.

http://www.oscommerce.com This is the one i have just set up. It has basketing and you can also set up credit card payements, pay pal and loads of different other types. Best of all its free and easy to set up. If you have ever set up a php forum then you wont have a problem setting this up ;)
