Things are hard at the mo, tbh i really would mind seeing more of the ASYS, Future tribes stuff... kinda old style hard german trance but with elements of hardstyle also in it...

That would be class, imo there really doesnt seem to be anyone doing anythin good enough to right home about, sam punk was for a bit but now findin his stuff gettin a tad stale...

    wats happenin.

The screetcy/scratchy synth is were its all goin wrong for me personally, is had the arse ripped out of it, and its been inspected by a 100 strong group of "high pitched squeel enthusiasts", put back together by that squad with a "super squidger 2000" to make it squeel 2000x Better.

Get rid of the squidge/squeel/screetch for me.

paul it's like you've written down everything in my head. i look for precisely the same thing in my music. sam punk i definitely rated massively but yeah, he seems to be doing that same formula shit that all producers eventaully fall into :(

when i hear that screech i really dont like it when i'm buying records. although when i hear it out (sometimes i'll play a hardstyle record for something other than the screech but it'll come in) you do see something in it's energy, but i fail to see how hardstyle can develop buy using this simple sound. it almost feels like hard house. in fact wasn't hard house based around one sound - the hoover oh, and an off beat bass?

I think even the hennes & cold bassline is a bit tired now. I tend to go for tunes that have something a bit more original

    Dito man.

It has got to the point when peeps i know maybe give me a bit stick for being behind hardstyle, and really i have no annumition or comeback to what there sayin as deep down i know there right. Ie everytune has the screetch and old the basslines are the same. Really what can u say to that? That hurts me, as im well passionate about my music, but to see something im really into kinda go down the pan a bit, its sad.

Straight on for their black off shoot, deserve praise and support for having the balls to release what they have, the first 2 releases have been spot on and a welcome addition to my box. If i knew or had any contact with these guys i would have a 3 page email to them telling them how fantastic imo a job there doin.

Kinda said to myself at the turn of the year things hopefully would pick up, but they aint really.

Whats gonna happen? After goin on some foreign site and gettin my way thru there hardstyle section, i found 2 things. Millions of screetches and secondly wat could be a little more worryin for me anyhows. Was that more and more records carried a really cheesy or silly rap kinda vocal thing. Wats wi that?

Shame we are not seein kramer stuff, with a kinda hard german sound with a techy slant, along the lines off DSC 1.

Is the kinda thing Straight on doin the way forward? Havin an off shoot releasing that kinda dark german sound with hardstyle influence?

Nah I mean Hard Trance in general, I'm getting a little bored of it TBH.

Getting well experimental and I can see myself making some changes in my style and that...
