Positive Impact Launch Party - Press Release

The Positive Impact team are pleased to announce that our Launch Party will
be taking place at the Dance Academy in Plymouth on Friday 23rd July 2004.

Positive Impact aims to bring all styles of Dance Music to the clubbers in
Plymouth, our tagline of "Embracing the Whole Dance Music Spectrum" speaks
volumes about what we trying to achieve.... monthly events including all
styles from Trance to Techno and all in-between.

The night is being co-promoted by Geoff Nugent and Alex Ough, who will also
be the Resident DJ's for the monthly events. Geoff plays Hard Trance and
Hardstyle; Alex will be concentrating on Funky House, Breakbeat and Big Room
Trance. More information on the residents can be found at their respective

plans for a Positive Impact Website, which will be launched in the near
future.

To compliment the varying style of the residents, we aim to bring the most
talented South West's DJ's alongside well known National and International
DJ's to Positive Impact at the Dance Academy for the pleasure of Plymouth's
Clubbing Community.

Guest DJ's on the Opening Night are....

Chris Davies - Chris is a well-travelled Plymouth DJ, having recently played
in Hong Kong, New Zealand, Madeira and Venezuela, and future bookings
include Israel and America. He can also boast residencies at various clubs
around the country, and has radio experience for Plymouth Sound FM, as well
as being the main Hard Trance Reviewer for TTR Magazine. We are extremely
pleased to have Chris onboard for our Launch Party.

Steve Jones - Steve is one of the new breed of up and coming DJ's in
Plymouth. After being a bedroom DJ for many years, his break came playing
at Run to the Sun 2003, and the Dance Academy DJ Competitions in both 2003
and 2004. Steve has also been producing his own Tracks and has big plans
for the future. We are also very happy to have Steve behind the decks for
our Launch Party.

The Opening Night will have CD Giveaways from both guest DJ's and the
Residents. Opening Hours are 10-3, with last entry no later than 1am.
Entry Price is £2 nus £3 others before 11pm, £3 nus £4 others after 11pm....
Over 18's only, Right of Entry Reserved, OAP's (over 65) free :))

Positive Impact also invites Demo CD's from all styles of DJ (except Drum
and Bass or Garage/RnB). If you are interested either bring your Demo along
