It seems pretty conclusive that Audiorealism's Bassline gives the best 303 simulation around, so I ask this - is it still worth buying analogue hardware for the purpose of creating acidic sounds?
I don't necessarily want a carbon copy of the 303 sound, but I would like a synth that can growl and squeal, with the original TB303 seeming to have a reputation for doing this the best. Now logically this would follow that the best simulation of this machine would offer the best alternative, but is this the case?
