Default Another Cubase SX2 prob - help please !

Hey guys thanks for the help with the other problems, the sample rate and bit rate are defo correct now.

However: when recording in SX2 we set the left locater at the beginning of the track, making sure the punch in button is activated. We then press play and the track starts to record from the left locater. When we press stop the recorded part then jumps a little to the right.

What is causing it to do this? How can we put it right ?

We think this is what is causing it to be out of sync in Acid ?

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks loads

    MM

    VST DEVICES/ VST MultiTrack/ SETUP/ EXPERT/

Have some tweaking on the settings :

Adjust for recording latency... tick/ Untick

Adjust the values in record Placement OffSet.

    Hey up,

    We've gone into VST Devices / VST Multi-track / set-up / expert.

The ADJUST RECORD LATENCY is unticked and we've set the record placement offset to +396 sample. The track now starts to record at the beginning.

Nice one - thanks for the help.
