    How funny.
    If we replace the word 'techno' by 'house'
    everybody seems to know what's house.

    * house is a feeling.
    soul, groovy, funky,
    and sometimes with a bit of dirth....

    and still it doesn't explain the definition of techno or house.
    there's an essential difference between the 2 styles. or not??

    "music made with the use of technology as oppossed to conventional instruments."

    So Britney Spears is techno?!?

    Don't kid yourself that all thses pop artists use the real instruments when producing their records. It's cheaper and easier to use studio effects and synthesised sounds.
