its not just cally n juice that get slated too much, its hardstyle in general. why does everyone have to be moaning about how crap everything is all the time?! i love hardstyle, and if i hear tunes that are'nt all that good, ill ignore it rather than go on a forum and tell the world how sh!t i think it is!!!!!! :dontevengothere: now what is the point in that i ask you?!
Hardstyle in general gets a slating cause its stale as funk the now, not much else u can say to that? How many reasons can u give me to say otherwise?

Credit where credits due, but its not due here, i dont mind moaning about it, doesnt do any harm. Its being realistic... i used to buy shed loads of hardstyle, but im really struggling at the mo.

You gotta be positive, thats a 100% true, but wat is there to be positive about? Not a lot mate.

On the note of the euphoria cd, cmon man. Its pantyhosen, a pair of pantyhosen, from a 38 stone german granny with big hairy legs.

They had an oppertunity to show everyone wat hardstyles about, and instead they have done a hardstyle equivelant of "Hardstyle anthems, in yer living room 2034"!!!

youre right, there is an obvious amount of producers out there who are 'below standard', but i still dont see the point in topics that are pages long about how sh!t one track, or two dj's are?!?!

how many posts on this forum are dedicated to cally and juice? i bet the amount outweighs the praise for other areas of hardstyle by a mile..

lots of negativity here, and seeing as its probably the biggest hardstyle forum in the UK, what hope do we have if a promoter comes on here to check out 'the buzz' and sees that the majority of views expressed are ones of 'how sh!te hardstyle is'.

its not just the bad producers that are killing the scene...

i've looked at the tracklisting of the CD and it's total rubbish!
if they couldnt get clearance for some better tunes then they shouldnt have put the CD out ffs!
it's one of the first major UK commercial CD releases to have hardstyle on and it's kak!
my critisim of Cally and Juice is they have put their name to this cheese! they have choosen the glory of being on a Euphoria CD over the music....imo!

On the note of negativity, ur 100% spot on.

But i will say this, in my eyes it aint negativity, its critism for wat in my eyes is a piss poor attempt at puttin hardstyle out onto a cd comp market.

Negativity is rubbish, im guilty of it sometimes, but i can only see the cd in perticular as a pile of shite. Anyone with half a clue on hardstyle, and passion for it at all... would agree.

If things dont get said, things continue as they are.

Haha that's contradictory as **** it's just an opinion mate, don't feel like i'm having a dig but it's just your opinion and it's not positive so therefore it's negative...words like Piss Poor and Pile Of Shite aren't the most of positive ways of conveying a message that you don't like it - fair enouhg you may not like it but the above sounds well negative to me and I'm sure others agree :)

I agree reading back, ur spot on.

Hands up, im being negative. I dont find anything positive in wat they do. There is too much anger and resentment in me towards mainly the cd, nothin positive gonna come out on this subject. Sorry guys.

Hence my last post on this subject, cant help it.... the cd genuinely pissed me off.

Yeah, when I post about this kind of thing it isn't a personal attack on the DJ's as people, I post it because I care about the scene etc, I don't post it to be negative, so OK I used some negative comments during my slating but then doesn't everyone, it's the same as if you are positive about something, you use positive sayings to back up your claim.

At the end of the day, this is a discussion forum, and not every topic can be a positive one as yes, there are people out there which are doing things in a way that people like me and paul don't agree with, so we post about it, and to touch on the bringing up Cally & Juice again is because they consistenly offend against the morals of putting our sound to other people, IMO they've done it all wrong, if they had released the CD with quality releases in the hardstyle perspective, I wouldn't have a problem, and if they use the excuse that Frantic wouldn't accept some of the tunes then they were happy just to mix cheese for the purpose of doing the cd.

It's like saying Mark EG record us a techno mix for Frantic Euphoria, we won't clear any of your tracks so we want you to mix our techno, the latest eric morillo tracks....

IMO the CD wasn't recorded to put they're sound out to people it was recorded because they had the opportunity to grab exposure, which i sfair enough, but what comes with this is trainspotters like myself giving them a bad name on forum, because, well it's my right.

    Anything anyone disagrees with there?

    feckin well said!!!

I hate the way u pop on here every day and there's 10 posts just stating how bad a track is, or how bad a dj is..........

and it's been this way for months on here.........

I've said it before - if u don't like it a track - JUST IGNORE IT!!!

all genre's have umpteen bad releases.........most get ignored, but it seems like loadsa people's fav past time on here is to whine about the state of hardstyle.........every day....

"this track is shite and ruining the genre"
    "this noise is overused"
    "this dj's wank"
    "this bassline is unorigianal"

I'm afraid this is it ladie's and gents - the start of hardstyle in this country was immense 2002 onwards, true, for a while now all releases haven't been as high quality.........if u don't like it - get into a new genre, cos loadsa people I know love whats going on now........

just cos its not as easy as it was........ or everyone here is trying too hard to look for the 'next big thing' taking it all faaaaaaaar to seriously, and forgetting to enjoy whats actually about now..........

In the place where all hardstylecomes from - it's larger than ever, so the people there dig whats going on, in might not suit us in a diff country........ but I don;'t think they really give a shit over there as its doing soooo well.

Maybe intead of bitching it's time to leave it alone and go try another genre......... cos can it really be satisfying listening to stuff u don't like all the time? - I wouldn't have thought so.........

and maybe just leave hardstyle to those that enjoy it.........

I'm not fussy on techno, can't see myself going on the techno forum and whining about tracks........ if u ain't liking hardstyle, then just leave it and go do something else......... not spoil it for those that do

    Very interesting :)

But I got some words to say.. That a another artist passed down (Africa Islam)

He is a one of biggest rap/hip hop artists, worked with ICE T on body count and numours bands... He plays techno, Hardstyle, Hardtrance..

His set was all Hardstyle. And he wares bling bling..

Where is this story going your saying, simple..

Music is Music, as a DJ/Artist you have to respect the MUSIC.. We are not in competion, every one has there own views n goals in making it.. Just some a lucky enough to get that break quicker than others..

Now seeing a massive hip hop king from the zulu nation play out the UK/HOLEND hardstyle was out of this world.. There is no need to be elite to any style just respect what the that person doing and know that all music is the same (Come from same instruments only just arranged differn't) and comes from the heart..

    cheers..

OK, maybe i'm being a bit to hard on the cheesters....
if that's what they wanna be known for, fair play to them - go play ya Frantic and belt our such "classics" as "What's Up" to ya sing-a-long beer boys...
i thought C & J placed themselves as credible artists pushing the boundries of hardstyle/hard trance/hard dance and underground music......dont think this release can be judged as pushing any bounderies or being even slightly credible to the real lovers of the scene and music.
