    Default Wav files to CD

Is it possible to set track markings in say "soundforge" and then burn the file onto CD using nero? If it was burned as Audio rather than data would these come out as separate tracks?

You can do it all in nero mate(if its 5.1). Put the full mix into the files to burn part, then press edit and the wave form will come up. Place your markers where u want slits to be and press split. Then exit the editor and it will ask if you want to split the tracks, press yes and it will split it up. Make sure before u burn that in the burn options u set the pause to 0 seconds otherwise u will get a gap between each tune.

you cant actually fast forward in nero, but if u get the editor up(see previos post), and zoom out, u can jump to where u want to be.

It's actually proving really difficult to set the track marks at the right point. You have to stop it all the time and then you don't know if you've got the right point. HHHHEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLP!

What i do is zoom right in and then place the marker where i think it should be, then play it. then place it back and keep repeating until i can see where it is meant to go.

In your audio options there it a tab called track properties, in there you can set the pause lenth between tracks, set it to 0.

Thats what I did, and then it tells me that I have to put a 2-3 second gap when I go to burn it. There's this option called "disk at once" I think...

Go write cd, Burn tab, write method, disk at once.

Do you mean FILE-->Write CD-->BURN coz thats what I do and it doesn't give me the option to change the write method.

What version of nero are you using? You can set it from the start as well. In the big box, where on the left you select what type of cd you want to burn, when you select audio cd, the content inside the box will change, click the burn tab, and in those option there is a dropdown bax wich says write method, its in there.
